Kitchen stuff plus is having their annual warehouse sale October 2nd and 3rd, 8am to 3pm. They are advertising reductions and savings of up to 90% off. I have heard good things about this sale so hopefully it lives up to my expectations. Couponlady has been kind enough to post the whole flyer here, including a “sneak peak” of sales.
I have driven more than 2 hours just for this sale and boy WhAT a DISAPPOINTMENT! The items advertised are never available, or they have ONE and its gone first thing in the morning. It is an outdoor “yard sale” where people are arguing and pushing to get a look at the few things that are out on the tables. If you were to go into the store, you can find the same items, sometimes for not even much more money. Because alot of the stuff in the sale is damaged or missing pieces etc.
Not worth your time unless you wanna push and shove or you live very close that its not out of your way to go!
michelle thank you for you commen i always wanted to go to one of these but after reading your comment i dont want to go thanx alot
I have actully been to this sale, and it’s not outside. They used to have sales outside their Orfus Outlet store like a sidewalk sale. However, this one was actually at their new warehouse.
There was alot of stuff at this sale, including some Kitchenaid utensils which I picked up, and some furniture items – maybe scratch and dent, but we managed to find a couple items that didn’t have any issue at all.
Definately worth the trip – have no idea what Michelle is talking about – but I would highly recommend it.
There was no pushing, shoving, nor was it outside. The sale had a tonne of items and lots of name brand stuff depending on what you are looking for.
It was a complete waste of time. The sale suck big time. e.g. One item’s original price is $32, marked down to $30.
I rather use their 25% off single item coupon that they have from time to time.
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! This sale WAS a complete waste of time! It is hardly a WAREHOUSE sale, the prices aren’t even that great; you could find better deals with regular sales at other stores.
Unbelievable that they would sell BROKEN stuff at “discounted” prices!
Word of advice: Do not go if you value your time!
My wife wanted us to go on Saturday but we didn’t make it. We went on Sunday afternoon instead, and although I expected there to be nothing left there was tons of amazing deals on Henckels knives, which is exactly what we were going for in the first place.
The sale had Henckels knives that the store doesn’t even carry – and the prices were way lower than you’d find at Sears or The Bay or any other retailer that sells Henckels. We even picked up a knive block that was $20. They sell the same on at the Amazon store for $200. And it was brand new. BRAND NEW.
Warehouse sales tend to have scratch and dent items. They advertise that. If you are surprised that there are some broken or dented items – you’re missing the point. Duh.
You have to be an intelligent shopper to get the best deals at warehouse sales. Go for the unique items. Go for the scratch and dent items and occasionally, you’ll pick up some regular items that they carry at reduced prices.
I’d recommend it and I’m going to the sale they’re having at the end of November. I think they said it was November 27.
The really smart thing to do for any warehouse sale is get there early to score the best stuff.
You snooze .. you lose .. that’s all I’m saying.
Ty
We went at 9am on Saturday. Jackpot! They had an awesome cuisinart clipper set on for like $14 and a Henckels carving set for $20!! We bought 4 sets to give as xmas presents. Lots of people but never any pushing or shoving. We did go to the sale when it used to be on the front lawn at the clearance outlet but this is way different. We got an email from them that showed a bunch of appliances and they had skids of them when we got there. Too bad to the suckers who go to weekend warehouse sales on a sunday afternoon expecting lots of good stuff. I think this sale is the best kept secret in town! I’ll be at the november one.
