Let’s not abuse this one, folks. I will be really annoyed if I see people bragging about doing 20 different $5 transactions at Le Chateau.
We’re not allowed to attack other members, so please consider this something along the lines of a pre-emptive strike.
If a person is willing to use their gas/time to drive around and hit every location in their area I do not see a problem with that :p

I have an outlet store near me, so maybe cheaper than regular stores but they have scarves and belts for around $5 on sale
there is a minimum purchase of 5$. I tried buying earrings for 4.99$ and the coupon wouldn’t work.
Well, turns out I was wrong. They have items as cheap as $2.99! I was able to get a pair of earrings with no problems.
It’s strange that you couldn’t get a $4.99 item…the coupon says it does apply to the total, which would be over $5 with tax in that case.
It also states that there’s no minimum, and that the maximum discount is $5…which implies that any lower priced item is also valid.
