This is a great find. Year after year I purchase the Canadian Tire equivalent just for the roadside assistance (since I do not have neighbouring Lowes in Quebec). This roadside assistance coverage is actually more generous than the Canadian Tire one (3 service calls instead of 2). Free shipping from Lowes is at the $50 threshold, so you might want to purchase some additional items like I did instead of paying the $9 shipping charge (note that your items must qualify for shipping – many large items are pick up and/or Lowes Truck Service only – which is not the same as shipping.) If you do not already subscribe to their E-Mail newsletter, a subscription gets you $10 off your first $50 purchase before taxes – I applied said voucher at $55 before taxes, got my order reduced to $45 before taxes and STILL qualified for free shipping…awesome! Finally, if you are purchasing with PayPal, once you submit your order, the order will return to Lowes website with an error message similar to ‘PayPal did not respond’ or something to that effect (a red banner with an X icon at the top of the page), for this issue simply click on the checkout button ON the Lowes website and your PayPal account will be charged as intended and your order will go through.
