Mandarin Buffet: Canadian Citizens Eat Free on Canada Day

mandarin

To celebrate Canada Day, Mandarin Buffets are offering a free meal to all Canadian citizens – no purchase necessary.

Your free meal includes a soft drink or tea/coffee and you must show proof of Canadian citizenship (not just residency) to get your free meal.  They will accept a birth certificate, passport or citizenship card.

The first seating is at noon and the final seating at 8:30.  They will not be accepting reservations so expect long wait times.  They will not have an a-la-carte menu and ask that you tip your server based on the amount your meal would cost normally.

For full details, see their facebook page here.  Will you be going to this?

I LOVE the Mandarin…. but it’s enough of a wait on a regular day with everyone paying… no WAY would I go on a free buffet day! But good for them, it is an awesome promotion (obviously!)

The line runs literally blocks for this ! Check youtube for lineups from previous years ! Trust me don’t bother , unless you want to stand in a line for atleast 3-4 years

Time is money – so if you consider a wait of 2-3 hours at minimum wage… you might as well pay at any other day…
