I used to work there, anyways, at the cash register, there should be a brochure thing with “Christmas craft ideas.” In the back is a coupon that is good for 20% off your total purchase, including sale items good till DEC 24th, so use this when other coupons are not available, it’ll be a good one to save. It can’t be combined though.
espresso-romance, I am currently at Michaels (I have been there for a year). The 20% off coupon found in the Holiday Craft brochure is only for regular priced items, and it can be combined with other coupons, just so long as they’re other coupon types. For example, you cannot have one 50 and one 40% off in the same transaction because they are the same coupon type. However, it is perfectly fine to have a 50% off any one regular priced and a 15% off entire purchase including sale items. The only rule is that the item that gets the 50% off discount will not be further discounted by the 15% off coupon. 🙂
