All I know is that Shopper’s Drug Mart is open that day, as I work. *sigh* I do remember reading that Michael’s had select hours this weekend so I’m suprised that they’ll be open. :S
Michaels will be open. At least the closest one to where I live. I remember working on Remembrance day and the hours were not changed at all. I know Good Friday is more of an actual “holiday-holiday” instead of just another STAT day but I’m sure it’ll be open. I used to work there and they were such hounds for money. I think it depends on the store manager or district manager to decide what hours the stores have on holiday.
Bottom of the email says
“CLOSED GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER SUNDAY. Please contact your local Michaels store or Michaels.com for hours of operation. Prices valid in Canada only. Offers and pricing listed in this email are valid April 21, 2011 & April 23, 2011.”
So I guess the 50% off is valid Thursday then?
Most stores in ontario will be closed friday,
I think only manitoba and one other location are open good friday.
The 50% off coupon is valid on thursday, and the 30% coupon is valid on saturday 🙂
I gave up bothering with the Michaels coupons long ago…they are always good on regular prices only and when you get to the store they make sure basically everything in the store is already on sale so the coupon isn’t any good anyway. This drives me crazy! Just a rant on my part but it makes me feel like they just issue these coupons to get you in the store even though they arent’ really of much use to most purchases.
I called the Michael’s in Markham, and I was told they are closed on Friday and that I can use my Friday coupon on Thursday! I plan to because I need to buy this three-tier cake stand and it’s $80. I’ve never had problems at the Markham Michaels when it comes to coupons…they don’t put much on sale over there I guess!
Yeah, they messed up on this one for sure, the valid date on the coupon contradicts the bottom of the email lol!
