These sales at Old Navy look attractive but the quality of the clothes is very poor in my opinion. I’ve been pulled in by deals and bought stuff in the past but I certainly would think twice before buying anything from there now, even at $5 if a shirt shrinks after a couple of washes it wasn’t worth it. (and yes, we do wash the shirts cold).
You think Moom? I’ve bought probably 100 items there and i’ve never had one single issue!
Dido… have purchased 100’s of items and never had a single problem. In my opinion Old Navy offers excellent value.

Your experiences are obviously different. What we’ve bought from there has been almost without exception poor quality – I’d love to say otherwise and that ON is the throwaway fashion store exception that proves the rule but I just can’t.

I agree with Moom, however, I have to say the quality is great for the young years when kids are growing out of them faster than you can keep up! Love the T’s – always buy a size bigger to take shrinkage into consideration. But I just bought 5 long sleeve T’s for her school dress code – couldn’t beat the 0.99$ price tag!!
@andreazoe: Agreed. We’ve bought kids stuff from there when it’s been on sale and, as long as you buy a size bigger and you’re choosy, it’s been fine given that the young ‘un will grow out of it in 6 months or less anyway. Wouldn’t buy adult clothing there though! 😉
For sure that’s why there are SO many stores, they have to keep us all happy. We can’t all like the same thing! lol
