Hudson’s Bay Canada is offering deals today that aren’t just for the parents. In the friends and family sale, most would probably jump right to the clothing and home deals, but there are some great discounts to be found for the kiddies in the clothing and toys section.

If you are paying with your Hudson’s Bay credit card, you can save an extra 20% off on your purchases when you use the promo code FRIENDS at checkout. If you’re paying with any other form of tender, you can save an extra 15% off.

Some of the better deals that I was able to find in the kids’ clothing sale were on things that were actually quite seasonably appropriate. For instance, this SOLO SWIM Polka-Dot Whale One-Piece is on sale for just $21 (reg. $28), but with the FRIENDS promo code it will be further reduced to being $17.85 (or $16.80 if you’re paying with your Hudson’s Bay credit card).

In the toy sale, this MONSTER HIGH Deluxe High School Bundle has been reduced to being just $49.99 (reg. $199.99). When you add the promo code though, it’s brought down to being just $42.50.

Hudson’s Bay Canada offers FREE shipping when you spend $45+ (or $29+ on beauty purchases) when you pay with your Hudson’s Bay credit card, or $99+ (or $49+ on beauty purchases) when you pay with any other form of tender.

Gap Canada and Banana Republic Canada are doing one of their convenient combined promos this week where you can shop at both stores and use the same promo code to receive 40% off your entire purchase. The promo code, STYLE, will expire on April 3rd at 11:59pm EST.

What’s really great about this promo code offer is that you can use it within the sale section, which means you can save 40% off on already reduced items (making your total savings way more than just the original 40% off). For instance, I was able to pick up an entire outfit from Gap for just $41.99. This plaid drapey shirt was originally being sold for $59.95, but I was able to pick it up for just $17, and these two tone perfect boot cut jeans were only $24 (reg. $89.95).

Gap and Banana Republic offer FREE shipping on all orders that are $50 or more.

Pfizer Canada Inc., the Canadian distributor of EpiPen® (epinephrine) Auto-Injector, announced a voluntary recall in consultation with Health Canada of one lot of EpiPen 0.3 mg (epinephrine) and one lot of EpiPen Jr 0.15 mg (epinephrine) Auto-Injectors distributed in Canada.

In Canada, the recall impacts one lot (5GU763) of the 0.3 mg strength of EpiPen Auto-Injector expiring in May 2017 and one lot (5GR765) of the 0.15 mg strength of EpiPen Jr Auto-Injector expiring in March 2017.

This voluntary recall is being conducted as a result of the receipt of two previously disclosed reports outside of Canada of failure to activate the device due to a potential defect in a supplier component. The potential defect could make the device difficult to activate in an emergency (failure to activate or increased force needed to activate) and have significant health consequences for a patient experiencing a life-threatening allergic reaction (anaphylaxis). The incidence of the defect is extremely rare and testing and analysis across the potentially impacted lots has not identified any units with a defect. However, the recall is being conducted in Canada out of an abundance of caution.

Pfizer Canada is committed to replacing recalled devices at no cost. Patients, healthcare professionals, wholesalers and pharmacists are being notified. Information is available on Pfizer.ca, Pfizer Canada Facebook page or EpiPen Canada Facebook page. Patients should keep their existing product until their replacement product can be secured.
Patients will receive an EpiPen Auto-Injector at their pharmacy as a replacement based on product availability. Pfizer are expecting additional stock to become available to meet demand in the coming weeks.

Consumers with questions regarding this recall can contact Pfizer Medical Information at 1-800-463-6001 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST.
