Walmart Canada and 7-Eleven are joining forces to do an e-commerce pilot project in the Greater Toronto Area. Online shoppers at Walmart.ca will be able to have their orders delivered for pickup at one of six convenience stores operated around the clock by 7-Eleven.

Walmart Canada said their pilot project will run for six months at certain 7-Eleven stores in Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Burlington and Brampton.

The controversial fashion line American Apparel Inc. filed for bankruptcy with the US courts today, struggling to keep its cool persona while juggling lawsuits and mounting debt.

The company was founded in 1989 by Mr. Dov Charney, while he was a student at Tufts University. American Apparel has built up its reputation as a brand by defying many social norms.
