After I applied the 40% off discount to the chinos and the dress shirt they were further brought down to $28.19 and $42 respectively. That’s a total savings of $92.81 for an outfit that, if it had bought in the regular season, would have cost $163!

It’s Tuesday once again, and you know what that means! Discount Tuesdays at VIA Rail Canada have gone live again, and today they will be offering reduced Escape fares on select Economy and Sleeper class routes if you are able to book before midnight tonight.

For the sleeper class fares with VIA Rail, you will have from March 11th to April 21st to travel, but you must book your seats before midnight tonight. Some of the sample one-way sleeper fares in this sale start as low as $153.50, but that’s only for when you’re travelling from Moncton to Quebec City (or vice versa). I was able to find a one-way fare for Saskatoon to Edmonton for as low as $176.50, but there were only 3 seats left at this time of posting.

For the short-haul Economy class routes through VIA Rail, you will have between March 11th and March 17th to travel within the Quebec City – Windsor corridor at a reduced rate. For instance, I was able to find a last minute trip to Montreal for this weekend for just $125.43 round-trip (taxes included). If you are taking a long-haul trip on Economy class, then you will have a bit more flexibility with your travel dates as you will have from March 11th until April 7th.

Walmart Canada is currently selling these women’s George winter boots for the lowly price of $5, which is almost exactly 85% off the original price of $35. Though with the recent spring like weather you may feel less inclined to buying a pair of suede winter boots, but when you’re saving $30 it makes preparing for next year’s cold winter weather a bit of an easier pill to swallow.

These George boots can also be used as indoor slippers until you find they are needed for the dropping temperatures outside, at least that’s what I use my suede winter boots as!
