Target’s liquidation sale has started, with up to 30% off many items in the store.

Some of the sales from people who visited my local store (they may be different elsewhere)

• Electronics 10%
• Makeup – 10-30% (some of the 30% items were previously on clearance at 50-70%)
• Fitness items 20%
• Toys – up to 30% (many were cheaper on clearance previously)
• Clothing 20% (adults) 30% (children)

Some people asked if they would be accepting RedCard and they are, but all sales are final with no returns so make sure you try on clothing before buying.  Fixtures are also on sale, you need to find a fixture manager.  Display items do not seem to be on sale (yet) and staff cannot mark items down further as prices have been set by the liquidators.

Bayer Canada is offering some great discount coupons on products that you know and love. Just head over to Bayer’s website and print out the coupons that you need and save up to $2 on select Bayer product.

Save $2 off on your purchase of Bayer products such as Ozonol. This ointment for scrapes, minor burns and skin irritations is a must have for any first-aid kit.The coupon expires January 31, 2016 so you have a long time to redeem it.

You can also save $1.50 off of Bayer products like Bactine. This spray is great for killing germs and soothing pain on contact. This coupon also expires on January 31, 2016.

All you have to do in order to get your coupons is visit Bayer’s website, select the coupons you’d like and print them out. Each coupon has a different expiry date and some that I selected were already expired, so make sure to read the expiry dates carefully.

Forum member tictacoh recently shared some images of their local Shoppers Drug Mart, one of the ones expanded to have a larger grocery section including fresh food.

As you can see from some of the price tags, the grocery prices are on the higher side and most produce is sold by pack/per item weight.  Some of these items are available in many Shoppers Drug Mart stores, like the bacon shown, but with many new fresh items including specialty and organic products.

Would you shop at one of these Shoppers Drug Mart stores with an expanded grocery section?  I think it would be great for 20x Optimum days, I would earn so many more points if I could buy produce.  Even at higher prices, 20x would likely make up for it and could redeem for food we eat rather than boxed goods etc that are usually sold at Shoppers Drug Mart.
