Amazon.ca Canada
Lego 4+ Basic Bricks 650-pc.

Amazon.ca has an amazing offer on a 650-piece set LEGO Basic Bricks set as it is currently being sold for 55% off the regular price of $106.85, now just $47.90. Most LEGO sets like this sell for much more when you consider the sheer quantity of building bricks included in the set; with there being 650 pieces, each piece would work out to just costing you $0.07.

What’s really great about these big box LEGO sets is how limitless the creations are, as there are no prescribed instructions to design a specific outcome leaving the choice entirely within your child’s two hands.

Amazon.ca will also ship this item for free since it is above the $25 minimum, but you had better act fast as hot deals like this tend to sell out pretty fast!

Target Canada Canada

There were a lot of questions on the forums and in reply to our post on the news of Target closing its Canadians stores so we got some answers for you:
Store closings: First, do not expect sales right away. They expect the liquidation process to take 16-20 weeks in total with actual sales starting in 2-3 weeks (once they get a court approval for a liquidation firm). While they are in the process of cancelling orders made for Canadian stock, they have warehouses with items and agreements for orders in place so stores will be getting that stock in the coming weeks. Some stores will be closing sooner than others, once we get a list of store closings, we will share it!
Gift cards: Target Canada will continue to accept gift cards through the liquidation period.
Returns: Target stores will continue to accept returns of merchandise purchased at Target Canada stores, according to pre-existing policies. Once Target Canada begins the liquidation process, all previously purchased items as well as those purchased during the liquidation process will be final sale and will be marked as such.
Protection plans or warranties: Guests should call the company that issued the warranty for additional questions.
Red Cards: Will be honoured until the close of stores and you must pay all balances by the date listed on the final purchase.
Pharmacies and your information: Target Canada pharmacies are operated by franchised pharmacists. Target Canada is not responsible for the custody and control of patient files. Guests should contact their pharmacy franchisee for additional information. Note that pharmacy staff are often not Target staff and will not be getting the severance package mentioned before, a few forum members have said that this is the same for other staff in Target, such as wireless experts and Starbucks staff. Since the pharmacies are independently operated, they may close earlier than stores, so it is worth checking now to move your information to another pharmacy.
If you have any specific questions, you can contact Target’s customer relations team at 1.800.440.0680 or [email protected] – note that they have not been answering any questions on social media, so contacting directly is the only way to get answers.

Frank & Oak Canada
Winter Sale

Frank & Oak Canada are having a winter clearance sale right now that is super hot, with mark-downs of up to 70% off the original price. And with their standard shipping rate of only $6 across Canada, you’d be wise to jump on this sale to get you through the rest of winter and stock up for next winter.

I was able to find some really great sweaters and cardigans for just $35-$45, which were all originally double that price, but if you’re looking for some nice layering pieces to get your through the brutal cold remaining in winter, then you should check out their pullover henleys, which are now just $20 (was $65).

The outerwear sale is even better at Frank & Oak, with there still being a wide selection of styles and sizes all of which are priced very reasonably. For instance, this men’s quilted woollen pea coat (in navy) was originally being sold for $225, and was then marked down to $113. After I went through the checkout process though, an additional $23 was deducted from the price, making the coat instead just $90.
Frank & Oak requires you to be a member to shop on their site, but membership is FREE and you can use your Facebook address/Google account to automatically sign-up.

Entertainment Canada
Entertainment Book 2015

If you’re subscriber to the Entertainment Book newsletter, then I’d suggest you head on over to your e-mail to check for this current deal they’re offering on the 2015 edition of the Entertainment Book. When you check your e-mail, there should be an offer that describes how you can get the most recent edition for just $10, a markdown of over 75% in some cases (depending on the original price of your region’s edition).

Additionally, for each extra edition and/or copy you add to your order from Entertainment you will only pay an extra $5. This offer will only be around until Monday, January 19th.
If you wanted to try this link, where I was able to ring through my order at just $10, you may be able to also ring through your order at just $10 (just be sure to subtract the unnecessary/original books from the cart before you process your won order!)

Hudson's Bay Company Canada
Swarovski jewellery

When I saw this deal on Swarovski jewellery this morning on the Hudson’s Bay Canada, I nearly jumped out of my seat with shock and excitement. You see, Swarovski has been one of my sisters’ and my own most coveted jewellery brand. Each of us owns a pair of the Swarovski mini drop Bella earrings in a different colour and, as is always the way with sisters, we’re always stealing each others earrings (as it’s only human nature to want what you can’t have!)
Which is why you can understand and fully appreciate my excitement to learn that Swarovski was on sale for up to 50% off this morning, as it means that I would finally be able to afford getting another pair in one of the beautiful colours that my dear sister’s already have their earrings in.

These Swarovski Sheena pierced earrings in gold were the first ones that pricked my eyes while skimming the sale, as they are the exact colour I’ve been looking for. Though they aren’t the traditional circle cut of the Bella earrings, I actually prefer the square cut to these Sheena earrings as they have a larger face to catch the light and shine back (one of my favourite traits of the Swarovski brand). Plus, they are currently on sale for just $44.62, where they normally sell for $85.

I also loved the look of these Mix Pierced Earrings which have an understated elegance with the black and white colour blocking, plus they’re also now on sale for just $44.62 (was $85).

Loblaws Canada
Rocky Point frozen lobster

Lobster season may be a few months away, but the wise folks at Rocky Point (real East Coast lobster) freeze their lobsters fresh so that we can enjoy it year-round. Even better than having lobster in the middle of January, is having it offered for 50% off, which Loblaws Canada is currently doing on their 320g cans of frozen lobster meat (knuckles and claws).

This flash sale on lobster meat at Loblaws began yesterday, as shown in this week’s flyer, and will continue until Sunday, January 18th where you can pick up a can for just $9.99 (normally $19.99). If you’re nearest grocery store isn’t a Loblaws, remember that you can still price match at the Superstore or any other Loblaws affiliated grocery store.

Hudson's Bay Canada
Calvin Klein 3-piece winter wear set

You’ll perhaps remember the other day when we posted about the 50% off sale on winter wear at the Hudson’s Bay Canada, but in case you missed one of the hotter items highlighted in this sale, we’re here to remind that you that there is still stock available on the Calvin Klein scarf, gloves and hat 3-piece set in each of the 9 beautiful colour arrangements.
Right now, you can pick up this 100% acrylic three-piece winter wear set from the Hudson’s Bay for just $19.99, which is over 75% off the original price of $88. This is an incredible markdown, seeing as there are three high-quality pieces included in the bundle, making each piece cost you a small $6.66.

There are nine different colours to choose from, but I personally love the fresh looking turquoise, gem-stone green as it will keep you warm but it also hints at (hopefully not too far away) spring.
The Hudson’s Bay ships to your home for free if you spend over $99, but you could always try to the retail store first to save yourself some money on shipping (which is a flat-fee of $9.95).

Pizza Hut Canada
coupon $10 off $25

Pizza Hut Canada has some great deals on right now, that when stacked with their online promo code offer of $10 off your order of $25 or more can be made to be piping hot deals. The promo code will give you $10 off when you order online and enter the promo code, 880, at the checkout and your order total is $25 before taxes and additional discounts.

I used this coupon code first on the Pizza Hut deal for the Panalicious Bundle, which will easily feed 1-3 people, but could go a little further if you got two of them (plus it would put you just over the $25 minimum). The bundle includes: 1 panalicious pizza, small breadsticks, and your choice of either 5 boneless bites or cinniparts dessert. The total of this package would normally be $39.96 for two bundles, but with your bundle discount and your $10 off coupon your total will just be $26.56.
There is a large amount of food in this offer for Pizza Hut, but airing on their judgements that one bundle will feed maximum 3 people, if you got two of these bundles you could feed 6 people at $4.42 a head!

Abercrombie and Fitch Canada
25% off sale promo code

On top of the massive mark-downs going on currently at Abercrombie and Fitch Canada online, they are also including (for this weekend only) an extra savings promo code that will give you 25% off the sale price on select merchandise. You will have to enter in the code, 10687, at the checkout to claim your extra 25% off and you only be allowed to use it until January 19th at 11:59pm EST.

The only restrictions on the sale items that you can apply your promo code to are the following products listed by Abercrombie and Fitch:
- Clearance items
- Jeans
- All fragrances and cologne
- 3rd Party Merchandise under the ‘Our Favourite Brands’ categories online
- gift cards and eGift cards

While there is still lots to choose from in Abercrombie’s current sale stock, I’d advise checking out their outerwear selection for both men and women where coats and jackets have already been marked down to (in some cases) over 50% off the original price. When I rang through this women’s Molly nylon parka, which was originally $130, it ended up coming to just $68.25.
And since this coat was just above the $50 minimum, I was also able to qualify for the free-shipping offer with Abercrombie and Fitch; a minimum which I’d suggest filling to since there is so much to choose from within the sale that wasting money on shipping and handling doesn’t really make sense.

Walmart Canada
Live Better Magazine

The latest offering of the Walmart Live Better magazine, the New Year 2015 edition, should now be available at your local Walmart Canada location. Thank you to forum member potohgold for giving us a look at its contents.
Sometimes chalk full of coupons, and sometimes not, this edition falls into the latter category. There are a few coupons inside which I will list below, but certainly no reason to high tail it to Walmart! Inside this edition you will find the following coupons:
- Save $5 When You Buy 2 PGX products, excl. protein bars (43404432, Dec 31 15)
- Save $3 When You Buy 2 Johnson’s Bedtime products, 266mL or larger (04394798, June 31 15)
- Save $2 on Imodium, 42ct or 60ct OR Zantac, 48ct or higher (04394974, Mar 31 15)

- $5 COLD-FX First Signs Combo Daytime/Nighttime OR COLD-FX Daily Defence, 45 capsules or larger (79508142, Feb 28 15)
Perhaps next month’s edition will contain better coupons. At least you can pick up a copy of this one to read. There will probably be plenty of these hanging around at the cash registers.
