Future Shop Canada has sadly announced that they will be closing their doors on select locations across the country, so far confirming the Regina and Ottawa (Gloucester location) to be shutting down this week. If you are within the area of either of these stores, I’d suggest heading over there before they close to check out any of the last-minute deals they have on open-box and clearance stock – as there could be deals on your favourite electronics and games for up to 50% off.

If you aren’t within driving distance of any of the closing Future Shop locations, then you can still stand to save with their currently weekly offers where consoles and games, like the Xbox One bundle, are on sale for pretty decent prices (especially considering the time of year). You can pick up the Xbox One 500GB Assassin’s Creed Unity/Minecraft Bundle right now for just $499.99 (saving you $20).

Or if you simply need to refresh your old system with some hot games, you can pick up select games for Nintendo Wii U, Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, and Xbox 360 for $19.99 each or (the better offer) 2 for $30.

You can check out a full list of the ongoing offers in this week’s flyer from Future Shop Canada here, and be sure to check within your local retail store for specific offers on open-box and refurbished products (as you could save really big on these products!)

Giant Tiger likes to get into the spirit of various National food days by offering a printable coupon, and here is another day to celebrate! Friday, January the 23rd, if you did not know, was National Pie Day. Giant Tiger has made a printable coupon available for $2 off the purchase of a GT Great Taste Deep Dish Pie!

Regularly priced at $6.97, the coupon will allow you to pick up a GT Great Taste Deep Dish Pie for just $4.97. The pies are between 1.1kg and 1.2kg in size, and I am not sure exactly how many varieties the pies come in, but I would imagine there are a few different flavours to choose from.

The coupon is valid from now until February the 5th, 2015, and is valid at all Giant Tiger and GT Xpress locations. It does not state any limit on the coupon either, so if you enjoy these pies you could probably stock up on a few at this price.

A&W Canada is rolling out a whole new set of coupons for the next two weeks, all of which will be expiring on February 8th, 2015. These coupons vary in what they will give you, whether it’s a free upgrade or a free side order, there is something to be combined within each meal should you have the corresponding coupons printed out at the time of purchase

The first set of freebie offers from A&W include a FREE A&W Roots Beer (or other regular soft drink) and side order of fries when you purchase one regular priced Chubby Chicken Burger. Or if you’re in at A&W before 11am and are able to beat the morning rush, then you could receive a stack of 3 free pancakes when you order a plated breakfast at regular price.

Looking to upgrade your meal? A&W has some coupons that will do that for free, should you buy the right meal in advance to showing your coupons. For instance, if you buy any Teen Burger (or, Mozza Burger) you can add an extra beef patty for free. And if you’re ordering any regular priced order of fries or a combo that comes with fries, you can upgrade to onion rings for free as well!

You must have an account to print out the coupons from A&W, but signing up is simply one-click away.

Good morning! Waking up on this fine Monday morning, some of us are probably looking around our homes and thinking that a little spring cleaning may be in order after a weekend of throwing tidying up to the wind (at least in my house that seems to be the case). This offer from Amazon.ca could be the small, but powerful, answer to your cleaning up woes of wanting to have an efficient vacuum cleaner but not necessarily having a whole lot of space to store one. The product that I speak so highly of is the Black & Decker AV1500 Dust Buster Auto Vacuum (12-Volt), which is currently being sold from Amazon.ca for just $19.99 (was $42.75).

The Black & Decker AV1500 Buster 12-Volt is a dust buster – essentially a miniature vacuum with a surprisingly large amount of power for its size. It has the added benefit of having a crevice tool, which will allow for you to reach those hard to get at crevices whether it be in between your car seats or between your couch cushions.

The one-step empty feature of the Black & Decker AV1500 also means that you won’t have to touch the dirt your picking up, all you will have to do is simply open it up and empty out the insides.

Amazon.ca is selling this model for just under the $25 minimum that would qualify you for free-shipping, so if you’d like to find some filler items to put you over the $25 limit I’d suggest you check out more of today’s hot deals from Amazon.ca.

They do have some good deals in the flyer if your personalized deals make it worth shopping.  Included in the two day sale (valid Saturday & Sunday):

• Kraft Dinner 12pk $7.99
• Campbell’s basic soups $0.59

We have some sneak peeks of the upcoming flyers for Quebec stores.  As always, if you live in other provinces, many of the flyers are similar and you can use them to start our shopping lists.

• Canadian Tire Quebec Flyer – January 30 -February 6
• Giant Tiger Quebec Flyer – January 28 – February 4
• IGA Quebec Flyer – January 29 – February 6
• Maxi Quebec Flyer – January 29 – February 6
• Pharmaprix Quebec Flyer – January 31 – February 7
• Super C Quebec Flyer – January 29 – February 6

Canadian Tire, Giant Tiger and Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart) will be similar in all provinces.  Major differences are usually bread, milk and toilet paper prices.  A huge thank you to Tioma for these early sneak peeks.

Target have not yet announced store closings and official liquidation has not started, but they have made some changes in stores.  Stores are no longer price-matching and many stores are already saying items are final sale.  Some forum users mentioned that staff have said gift cards will not be accepted after February 1st despite their original promise to accept gift cards through liquidation.

They have also closed Starbucks in all Target stores.  If you love Starbucks mugs and other items, they have been moved into the store so watch for them once liquidation starts!
