OMG OMG! This is the sale I’ve been waiting for! I hope my VIP SPC comes in time. Aaahhhh!

On Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29, 2010, Shoppers Drug Mart is giving away a free mystery gift card worth $10, $100, 0r $1000 when you purchase $50 or more on almost anything in the store. Usual exclusions like prescriptions, lottery tickets, gift cards, yadda yadda yadda apply. I’m sure majority of the gift cards are for only $10 but wouldn’t it be awesome if you got a $1000 one? It’d be great if someone from SC gets it. 🙂

Zellers is holding their Moonlight Madness event on Friday, August 27, 2010 (Saturday, August 28th for Quebec). Check out the flyer in your area for some great deals. What they do is close the store down an hour before the sale starts, then open again at the start of the sale. I’ve been to one of these before and people actually start lining up outside, waiting for the doors to open. It’s craaaaaaazy!!!
Click here to enter your postal code and view the Moonlight Madness flyer in your area.
Thank you to Patty Smyth for posting the early heads up!

Elf is offering 50% off Studio line items until August 30th with a minimum $20 purchase. So basically add $20 worth of Stuidio line to your cart then use the code “ESTUDHA” at checkout to receive 50% off, so your $20 turns into $10! Now there have been some issues with some Sc’ers and the Canadian Shipping rates. This is the discussion last time. Basically heres a recap.
- Make sure your not logged into ELF
- Add your items
- Use the promo code
- Checkout with Paypal link (do not sign into elf)
- Sign into Paypal
- Confirm your payment
- Page takes you back to Elf final confirmation, you will see $6.95 ($8.00) Canada
- Confirm
- The $8 goes away for some reason and your paypal will be charged the $6.95
🙂
Happy Shopping!
(Note Elfs front page says 30% off Studio, but the one I have posted is for 50% and was for Facebok fans)

This coming weeks Food Basics flyer in Ontario has Robin Hood 10kg flour on sale for just $7.97. If you are one of the lucky ones like myself that has a $3 coupon you can get a bag for just $4.97. I am not sure where the coupons came from as I got mine in a coupon trade that I did here in Smart Canucks Canadian Coupons Trading and Discussion section. I have been waiting for a sale like this in my area with no luck. I think my time has run out since the coupons expire on August 31.
Thanks to SarahS83 for posting the flyer so early.

A Sc reader has used the suggest a deal form on the blog and sent us a coupon for a free ham and egg muffin and coffee until September 7th. I was just wondering if anyone else has received this coupon and if they can email it to us to confirm that its legitimate. I’m wondering if this was the “rain check” that was sent out for people still in line at 10am at the free breakfast on August 19th. Either way if you can help please do. Thanks!
