This weekend the Bay is offering an extra 15% off when you pay with your HBC Credit Card or HBC MasterCard! This applies to all regular, sale, and clearance priced merchandise! PLUS they currently are having their annual Store Wide Sale, so there are some really fantasic deals to be had!
Thanks to whaley for sharing this offer with us through the “suggest a deal” form.

Starbucks has had a special everyday for their “12 days of Wishing” promo, this included reduced prices on mugs, tumblers and stuff. Today’s special is the last one, and a great one!
Some confusion on what the deal will actually be in Canada though, I have read that it’s $7.95 for the 1lb bag (hence the picture), however that is probably the US sale and the US price, so keep that in mind if you go tomorrow.
I have bought the Christmas blend already this season and love this blend. I can’t remember exactly how much it is normally, on the Starbucks US site it shows it as $12.95. It is described as a “unique blend of beans that makes this coffee such a fitting accompaniment for your holiday taste traditions. Our Christmas Blend is sweet and spicy, with a flavor derived from bright, sparkling Latin American coffees and smooth, full-bodied Asia/Pacific beans. But it’s the Aged Sumatran beans, carefully held for 3 to 5 years before roasting, that give it that delicious signature spicy taste.”
UPDATE: I just saw the Starbucks update on the Facebook group, and it says this “The last day of the 12days of Wishing is a really good deal: Get 1lb of Christmas Blend for $7.95US & 25% off in Canada”
So if it sells for $17.95 in Canada, that would make it.. $4.48 off…. so it would be like $13.47. Would of been nice to have it for $7.95. 🙁 Sorry guys, I got a little too excited about this one, it’s still a savings but not as good as the US is getting.

Spend a minimum of $100 and get 100 Bonus Airmiles Reward Miles at Safeway Canada. Purchases must be made in a single transaction. Not valid on purchases of prescriptions, diabetes merchandise, insulin pumps, insulin pump supplies, and blood pressure monitors. Coupon expires Dec. 12, 2009.
No Safeway here in Ontario, too bad for me. We have Metro, which very rarely offers high value Airmiles coupons. It took me literally years to get enough miles to get a $20 Metro GC.

If you’re still looking for a Christmas gift for someone or you just like to eat out, Old Spaghetti Factory might have just the deal for you. The $10 card does have to be used between Jan 1 and March 31 2010, but that gives you 3 months to go out to dinner so I think it’s pretty fair. This is one of the best gift card deals from a restaurant that I’ve seen, usually you have to buy a $50 gift card to get a $10 free.

Thanks to BookMom for posting this awesome deal!

Entourage, another HBO show is on sale for $94.99 today over at Amazon. Just today, and normally, if you put all seasons together individually (5 of them, season 3 split into 2 parts), it would be around $150 (at Future Shop, or on Amazon itself, even Wal-Mart .. the season sell for $19.99-$29.99 each, with season 3 counting as 2). So this is a pretty hot deal if you are or were into the show. Here’s the link.

If you are interested in buying some new sweaters, RW & Co has a decent deal.

Tax Free Weekend is here again! Dec 12th and 13th are no tax days at Real Canadian Superstores in Ontario. This is a good opportunity to use up your FPC (free product coupons). This is during store hours, 7am -11pm, check your local stores for more details.
I’ve read that the tax free days in the Atlantic are Dec 11th and 12th (Friday & Saturday).
Thanks to couponlady for the heads up!

Today and tomorrow save 50% off suites at the Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls for stays from December 10-18th and January 3-31. Use the code 48HOUR
This makes Great Wolf Lodge super affordable for all income ranges! Rooms with the discount from what I saw started at $99, which is the absolute cheapest I’ve ever seen offered. If I wasn’t already going away in January I most definitely book this. My advice is to book ASAP as this sale can be cancelled at any time and is only good till tomorrow night!
Thanks Daber

Looks like I’ll be heading there with my $10 Hasbro coups, and my Christmas shopping will be done! Hopefully I find a decent price on Connect Four…

In case you can’t read the fine print, it says:
Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount card (I’m assuming they mean their Prestige Card), coupon, or towards the purchase of gift cards, Prestige cards, or previously purchased merchandise. Offer is valid until December 31, 2009. Merchandise may not be available at all Suzy locations. Coupon must be presented at time of purchase. One coupon per person per transaction. Some restrictions may apply.
Take note that the coupon is for REGULAR priced merchandise only. With that in mind, Suzy usually has black/brown/grey/beige dress pants regular priced at $18, and also some very nice party tops starting from $15. Their accessories including jewelery, scarves, and socks are also reasonably priced. Too bad this coupon can’t be combined with the Prestige card though…

I’m sure many of you have seen the Grinch who stole Christmas starring Jim Carey. I had seen it years ago and had forgotten about the little stuff. Well it was on Monday, and I never realized how much adult humour there is in this movie.
For example in one part the Grinch is a baby in a tree while his to be parents were having a party. They were dancing kinda provacatively with each other then you see a fishbowl come out and they all throw their keys in.
Hmmn. Key game? I’ve seen it on movies before its a swingers game. Yuck! My husbands theory was keys were collected so the Who’s of Whoville don’t drink and drive, but I’m definitely onto these swinging Whos!
Has anyone else noticed some of the adult humour in this movie? I know its common for movies such as Shrek to be suggestive but I never noticed it in this moive.
So if you have seen this part whos side are you on? Are the Who’s Swingers or are they just keen and don’t drink and drive? Or both?
Happy Holidays! 😀
