Use printable Toronto Zoo coupon to get free child admission. That is $12 in savings. Coupon valid for one free child with one paid admission. It seems like Toronto Zoo are once again accepting this coupon. This coupon is legitimate and valid however Toronto Zoo did make a fuss about it a couple of months ago although they are the ones that released the coupon… lame 😛

EA Sports Active is a new Nintendo Wii game that was recently released on May 19th, 2009. It seems like an excellent game and has been given a high score by most gaming websites. @keithmcarthur an official representative for Rogers and Fido has tweeted about Rogers plans to introduce the new iPhone 3G S to Canada, the price drops on the iPhone 3G and the return of the 6GB data plan! According to his Tweets:
Both Rogers Wireless and Fido will offer iPhone 3GS starting June 19.
Rogers/Fido pricing is $199 for 16GB iPhone 3GS; $299 for 32GB iPhone 3GS on a three-year voice and data plan.
8GB version of the iPhone 3G will drop to $99 on June 19 at Rogers and Fido with a three-year voice and data plan.
Rogers is reintroducing the $30/6GB data plan for iPhones effective tomorrow, June 9. Offer available for a limited time.
Rogers/Fido are only national carriers to offer $25/500MB plan. 93% of iPhone users use less than 500MB so this is the right plan for most.
Other Questions answered by keithmcarthur:
Q: Will current iPhone users be able to exchange iPhone 3G for 3GS at prorated cost perhaps?

Thanks saveoneverything for suggesting this free long distance offer in Canada 😀
You can make free long distance calls from many major Canadian cities. I have never personally tried this service but I read lots of good reviews about it. They never charge you anything extra and there are no hidden costs. Apparently what they do is play an ad before your call. I read that sometimes you’ll get a busy signal in which case you simply need to try again later.

National Geographic Magazine has a special promo for Facebook users but anyone can take advantage of it. Subscribe to National Geographic Magazine for 1 year for only $16 Canadian including GST! This deal is ultra-hot for nerds like me!
This offer is good for Facebook community members in the U.S. & Canada only. New orders only. Canadian price is C$16.00 and includes GST.
The October 1978 cover of National Geographic Mag pictured on the right says “DREAM ON, VANCOUVER”. I wonder what that was about and if more than 30 years later that “dream” came true.

Thanks Ryan H. for suggesting this steamy Steam deal 😀
Penumbra Collector Pack (includes the games Penumbra Black Plague Gold Edition and Penumbra Overture) is currently on a 75% sale at Steam Canada. The whole pack is on sale for $5 US. Note that this buys you the game but you don’t get an actual DVD of the game; You’ll need to download the game from Steam.
Penumbra was developed by a small company with a small team of developers so don’t expect Half Life 2 gaming quality. That being said, it’s a marvellous game that’s well worth your 5 bucks. The game has a detailed physics engine and also conveys the dark creepy environment pretty well.
Here’s a video of the game:

Thanks boris_cooldude for suggesting this ASUS deal at Staples. This is what he had to say:
Staples here (in Vancouver; all of BC i guess) has the ASUS 1000HE on sale for $399.96. It has the potential of up to 9.5hrs of battery life, wifi N, etc. I have been keeping an eye on this item and so far this is the cheapest I have come across (cheaper than NCIX, Anitec, A-power).
Cheers
I had a look at Staples online and the Asus EEE PC 1000HE Notebook PCs seem to be on sale for around the same price in Ontario and most provinces too (just a few bucks more). This is a spectacular laptop and for this price it’s a steal. However there are a couple of things you need to be aware of. First of all the monitor is only 10″ which I personally find too small. It’s very handy when travelling but for day to day use I’d go for a larger screen. When buying the laptop from Staples make sure it’s the new laptop not a refurbished one and keep in mind that they have 2 different keyboards: US and Canadian. If you type in English only I strongly recommend you get the US keyboard. If you type in English and French then get the Canadian keyboard.
This Asus EEE PC 1000HE Notebook PC deal is available at Staples Canada online and in-store. Deal ends June 16th, 2009.

When you join the Jack Astor’s Bar & Grill VIP Club (mailing list) they’ll email you a printable coupon for $10 off $25. This coupon could be used at any Jack Astor’s Restaurant in Canada. This is a splendid deal in my opinion! On top of that they’ll email you coupons, discounts and deals every now and then and I’m guessing a special coupon on your Birthday too.
Also check out the cute animation cartoon on Jack Astor’s front page. Try feeding him different food (or the crayon and soap haha) and see how he reacts. Also ignore him for a while and listen to his hilarious comments 😀
