Hey guys,
make sure that your address is up to date with your shoppers optimum card as from time to time they send out samples, currently they are sending out a nice little thing to females, that contained a ton of bonus point coupons for various items, a package of shiver gum, some ouchless hairpins, a sample of the biore nose strip, sunsilk sample and dollar off coupon, biotherm sample.
About a week ago I recieved a venus razor from shoppers in the mail as well. Its always good to make sure you address is up to date with them. I believe its a randomized selection of people to get the samples.

How creative and unique! If all ads were of that quality we wouldn’t need TiVo.

This is an in-store Carlton Cards promotion only and no coupon is necessary. Buy 3 cards gets 3 of equal or less value for free.

Disappointingly, I donââŹâ˘t have something funny to offer for this weeks McDonaldââŹâ˘s Monday ââŹâ just something really really cool. LotââŹâ˘s of different regions have different promotions and events, and in Hawaii? Some McDââŹâ˘s have Karaoke Night. How cool/bizarre is that?
It seems like the perfect combination ââŹâ now that I think about it, I donââŹâ˘t think I could ever croon old Duran Duran tunes again without the smell of a Big Mac wafting in the air.
What about your local McDix? Do any of your stores have wild and wacky promotions or events?

Jack and Meg of White Stripes surprised their fans by showing up on a Winnipeg Transit bus and playing Wheels on the Bus, and Hotel Yorba! What An awesome surprise! Sorry I don’t mean to be rude but I wish the people on the bus would shut up and listen to the music.

7-Eleven turned 12 of its stores into the Simpsons’ Kwik-E-Marts. 11 of these are in the US and the store locations are mentioned on 7-Eleven’s website. The remaining store is in Canada :-). I tried finding out where that Canadian Kwik-E-Mart is located but this info isn’t mentioned anywhere online. I’m pretty sure it’s not Kingston :P. I’m guessing it’s in Toronto “centre of the universe” but you never know.
Any ideas where that Kwik-E-Mart is in Canada? I’d love to visit that store!
Here are a few pics of one of the US Kwik-E-Marts:

With yesterday being Canada Day and all, I couldnââŹâ˘t think of a better way to celebrate our great nation than with a McDonaldââŹâ˘s post featuring the greats of our great national pastime. Unfortunately, they havenââŹâ˘t made any MickeyDââŹâ˘s ads about curling or lacrosse, so weââŹâ˘ve had to stick with boring old hockey.
I think this clip, cute as it may be, serves as a great reminder regarding sports figures and acting. I wouldââŹâ˘ve liked to think we learned our lesson after Space Jam, but not a year goes by where we donââŹâ˘t see some charisma-less hack toss a football for Coke or hit a home run for WendyââŹâ˘s.
That being said, there are a few sports stars who seem more than capable of making the transition. Was anyone else surprised at how much fun it was when Peyton Manning hosted SNL a few months back?
