Instead of doing couponing the old-fashioned way, P&G BrandSAVER Canada has decided to make the switch for a more eco-efficient way of doling out their coupons through a print-at-home system. The benefits of printing at-home versus the traditional mail-out system are many, but the biggest one is that you can pick and choose which coupons are applicable to you without wasting paper. Also, you can print them out right as you need them, whereas when coupons are mailed out, they tend to get lost in the weekly mail (or at least they do in my house).
There are a number of coupons available to be printed off, all of which include some of your favourite household brands that are distributed by P&G. While the coupons are vast in what they cover, you should keep in mind that the discounts they do offer will not be applicable on travel size or sample size products. Here’s a quick rundown of the coupons from this week:

Printing coupons is a nice idea, except that most stores still give you trouble when you try to use them. In the end, less coupons can actually be used! Great for the company but not so great for the customer.
I agree with this. I still get hassled in the stores, especially big places like Wal-Mart or SDM. Plus BrandSaver uses SmartSource/Java and I always have issues printing from them, if I can even get Java to install properly on my computer.
The issue I have with this is that I can never figure out how to get more than one coupon printed on a page. I inevitably end up wasting more paper this way because a coupon takes up a smidgen of the top of the page and then I have no other use for the rest of the paper. If anyone has a solution to this, I’m all ears.
I don’t find it so great having printed ones either, my main grocery store doesn’t accept them and I’m probably using the fifty cents or a buck in ink printing them, does not seem worth it to me, yes good for P&G, bad for consumer I say.

I can never get these to print. Reading these comments makes me realize that it’s likely my store won’t accept them anyway. Such a shame.
