Thanks to TeddyKana for posting this awesome freebie!
Thank you 🙂
they’ve never came for me in the past
^agreed. didn’t get the others.
It does say limited quanities, so maybe they ran out filling orders before they had a chance to remove the offer…still, it never hurts to try
I have received books from them before. I say sign up, you have nothing to lose!
I didn’t get them either. Maybe there using our info for other purposes!
I received free books from them before, and no junk mail thus far.
I think we have to be patient with these books. I just looked up Walking to Gatlinburg on amazon and it says it doesn’t come out until March 2, 2010.
Great find!
I never got the last ones they were offering but I did get the The Charming Man one a while ago.
Thanks for letting us know about this great find! I have received two free books in the last few months. They do take at least several weeks to arrive. The website doesn’t confirm that you will receive the books, just thanks you for your request. I guess it depends if you sign up in time. Keep trying, it’s a great treat if you do receive one!
The Charming Man, and The Girls were free books from Chatelaine. I haven’t received them from Random House before but will keep trying.. nothing to lose.
There’s a site called FreeGiftYard.com where you can get anything pretty much for free. All you have to do is complete surveys. I usually do this when I’m bored in school or somewhere. I get points and then redeem the points for anything online. The points have $ value so if you get 200 pts thats $20 and if you sign up you get 100 pts for free! I already got a ps3 and iphone from doing this.
I got the Charming Man also. I say why not, it’s free give it a try
Thank you 🙂
I too received the Charming Man, haven’t had a chance to start reading it yet but would really like to find the time. This is worth a shot, a couple of the books sounded interesting to me; I didn’t sign up for the third, thought the book would make me angry, didn’t like the topic. Thank you for the post
I signed up yesterday, hopefully they come.
Thanks a lot…I received Charming Man – very surprised as I haven’t received much yet!!! I signed for all three – hopefully I will receive at least one of these….no harm in trying, is there!!??
I actually received 2 copies of The Charming Man (gave one to a friend). I haven,t received any of the Random House ones yet though…hopefully they will come.
Thanks for posting this!!! 🙂
thank you. hope at least 1 comes.
FYI I checked out the FreeGiftYard.com website (from the post above) and if you read over any of their “Terms”, or even their second sentence, you will find at least four grammar mistakes…I’m fine with making mistakes, but four in less than five minutes of reading leads me to think the website MAY not be on the up-and-up (I’m teaching my students about website credibility in class). Just my thoughts!
Thank you! Ordered Walking to Gatlinburg!
I’m currently reading This Charming Man. So far, enjoying it. What a great idea, to give away free novels to people! I have been telling all my friends about this website. Ordered the last round you had posted about a month ago, I’m hoping they come soon!
I got The Girls and The Charming Man (twice!)
there was another sign up in Dec. – haven’t got those 3 yet!
I received one book from them before “The Girls”. It did take a little while to arrive but it did. Just try and who knows your request will be fulfilled. I never received junk email from them either.
Received this message today: “While we send as many as we can every month, yours was not one of the entries chosen at random to receive a book.” 🙁
@ Catherine
I got the same message 🙁
Does anyone know if you get a message if they do choose your entry?
@lbal: The Girls was from Chatelaine.
@Catherine: I got the same message too.
Is freegiftyard.com a scam or not??
You had great positive ideas there. I did a search on the issue and found nearly all peoples will agree with your blog.
I as well as my buddies came taking note of the nice information and facts located on the website while quickly came up with a terrible feeling I never thanked you for those tips. These ladies appeared to be certainly warmed to see them and have now actually been making the most of these things. We appreciate you being so kind and also for having these kinds of perfect information millions of individuals are really eager to understand about. My personal sincere apologies for not saying thanks to you sooner.
