I always use my FPCs during this event, no matter what some people say that FPCs are supposed to cover taxes no matter where you use them. Frankly, I’m tired of arguing with cashiers and managers about FPCs and taxes, and it’s just not worth the hassle. I go to the no tax event, no questions asked, no headache after shopping.

Thank you to mightyatom for this hot tip!
These No Tas sales are great. It is better than having only what the retailer and the manufacturer decide what you choose from.
to her person that keeps ranting about fpcs and no tax please stop being so rude and using all different usernames under the same ip. We can tell its you.
Obviously we know there is no tax on fpcs, but sometimes they don’t specify that and it’s a fight with the cashier. Some of us dont have time for the hassle and stress.
Please excuse my ignorance: what are “fpcs”?
I think that it means free product coupon
What a scam! Most food products have no tax anyways!!
that is true Trevor, but most of us go for the electronics! Hopefully I can grab a Kinect!
These sales are GREAT for me. I have 4 cats and 2 large dogs plus I donate a lot of pet foods to my local shelter (my “pet” charity ~ if you’ll pardon the pun).
Yes, food is tax free but pet foods aren’t and cleaners aren’t and toilet paper/paper towells aren’t so this is when I stock up.
In NS tax is 15% so it’s like a 15% off sale on everything except food. And combining that 15% off with my pet food and dry goods coupons makes for some nice savings.
I also use my FPCs at these events because the cashiers are never trained to do these correctly at many stores. It’s just easier than having to point everything out to them.
these events are great for fpc’s. if the cashier charged tax, consumers can always go to customer service desk and ask for a refund without any arguing.
someone i know used her kashi bar fpc at walmart and had to pay taxes on it. she was not very happy about that. it’s really a hit or miss situation.
Its no hit or miss, just speak up. The coupons dont “cover tax”, there is no tax involved.
Hey crispitycrunch, we got the point in your 15 usernames. Chill lol.
