Remember the awesome “I Gotta Feeling” video that was shot in one take by Université du Québec Students?
Well it looks like University of Victoria students decided to give them a little challenge by taking a video of Hey Soul Sister by Train in one shot.
The youtube competition between our universities just makes me proud to be a Canadian 😛
Update: My sis tells me that there’s a university in Spain called University of Vic and that it isn’t University of Victoria. I’m not sure but either way it’s a nice video!

Yes, this one is from Spain but the University of Victoria, BC did one to try to beat the World Record for Lib Dub this past weekend. Was supposed to be over 3000 people doing it!! Will let you know when it comes up!!

ohhh I am sorry, I was reading the local paper and there was a link online to this video, I assumed it was THE video that they just shot…so sorry guys, I appologize! I love these videos no matter where they are from though, and yes, I also think the Montreal one was better, but I do enjoy them all!

I think that it’s awesome to see a group of student do something that brings a smile to many. I know this takes a lot of planning and work to produce but in turn it gets a lot of people in the world smiling or singing along.
More of these would be a great thing to see.

this, the techno generation is heading in a much more artistic direction by creating these awesome testimonials as to how much fun they are all having at University, all across our little planet.

Even though this isn’t the UVic in Canada, it is still really awesome that they did that! Gosh, I really wish my university is that cool to do something like that.
What a great thing to promote the school that these students go to. It also brings a large group of people together that may not meet any other way. Would love my sons college to do this!
No wonder I don’t recognize those buildings at all! I went to UVic a few years ago…As I was watching the video, I realize that the style of the buildings do not match how UVic buildings look like…and I was sure that it is not the UVic that I went to….While reading the credits, I saw that the words are not English..so it should not be our UVic and it should be Spain’s UVic….I wish I am still going to UVic 🙁
