If you check your email regularly, you have probably seen an email from PC Plus requiring you to reset your account password. For those who do not, or have more than one account in their household, time to get a new password.
As we mentioned last month, PC Plus accounts have been compromised. Thieves have been logging into accounts with weak passwords, setting up a new card number on your account and using the points. This is likely the reason behind the move to no longer allow redemptions of gift cards as they are generally the easy option for thieves.
New passwords must be 8 characters, plus include an upper case letter and number. You will not be able to log in until you update your password. If you cannot find the email from them, simply go to the PC Plus homepage, and click forgot my password and they will send you a new link.
Changed mine last month. Logged in after I got this email and discovered $240 was redeemed from my account
I had already changed mine too. Thankfully no points missing on mine. Do contact them though, so far everyone seems to have had points returned
I reset mine and then received another email to reset it again and when I tried I had to wait for an email with a reset link. Its been a couple of days and still no email I contacted them again and they resent it and I am still waiting 2 days and no link. Very odd.
Maybe in your spam? Mine came through right away

When Home Depot and Target had security breaches like this, they extended one year of credit monitoring services from Equifax to their members. We should put pressure on PC Plus to do likewise.
Their breaches could have had partial customer and financial info. PC is claiming that it is unsecure passwords used on other breached sites that they are using to access PC cards
I tried to reset my password using the 8 digits with what they required and it would not accept it! When I went to the site, it said it may take some time to get one they will send and then I change it????? I need to go to bed and won’t be able to access
this tomorrow. I won’t be shopping tomorrow and will lose my offers. PS I hate the flyer starting on Thursday.
PC Plus is amateur operation. What kind of site in the 21st century limits your password length to 8 characters??? Of course they’re going to get hacked. You could hack them with a calculator!
I have reset my password, and am now able to view my account after over a week of trying to get it sorted out, but the app will still not allow me to log in, and continues to lock me out.
