If you missed out on Shoppers Drug Mart Canada‘s 20x the Optimum Points event last weekend, there’s no need to worry, as it seems they are once again offering 20x the Optimum points on purchases  October 3-4 in store. As with last week, this week’s offer takes advantage of the new Shoppers Drug Mart phone app which allows you to load targeted coupons directly to your Optimum card.

To get your digital coupon for 20x the Optimum points, just follow these steps:

1. Log in or create an account with the new Shoppers App & Digital Card (available on the App Store and on Google Play) OR log into your account online.
2. Once you log in, the coupon should be visible on the bottom of the home screen for the app. Click on it and select “Load to Card”. It will then load the coupon to your card
3. Show your card when shopping in store to get your bonus points

While everyone with an Optimum card should be able to get this coupon, the minimum spend amount in order to get 20x the points will vary from person to person. Last week, a few people I know had a bit of difficultly finding the coupon online, so I’d suggest using the app to make things easier. The new app has just about everything you need to get shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart! You can view your current Optimum Points, load coupons, view current flyers and even make a shopping list. It’s really convenient!
