Shoppers Drug Mart Redemption Flyer Sneak Peek *Updated*

We can now start to plan redemptions if you still plan to redeem at the lower amounts.  After seeing the flyer, I will hold onto those points for a future event or Boxing Day sales.

if i didn’t need formula this year i would totally wait until after christmas to redeem….stuff was half the price after christmas!!!! of course if you just redeem for food or other essential things there would be no use in waiting…which is the case for me this year.

  2. Leslie says:

So is this supposed to be the “big event” that everyone mentions all year long, regarding the main SDM points redemption??

  3. Marty says:

Maybe its a trick to get everyone to burn up their points and there going to do it on another weekend in December.

  4. Sparkles says:

I hope it’s a “trick”, but just in case it’s not, I’m going to do a couple of redemptions and will save the rest in case a real mega redemption happens! Fingers crossed!

  5. Scubabare says:

Lame! Wait all year long for the mega event and this is what they give us. An extra $40 for 95,000 PTS and no stellar deals! But hey they stopped playing Christmas music in all their stores when people asked. So maybe enough of us need to chirp about this “mega” redemption. I think I’ll hold onto my points.

  6. JodyCorey says:

I don’t think this is “the big one”. I’m saving my points, have a feeling the $250 offer will be available in the next 2 weeks following this offer.

  7. JodyCorey says:

Pretty sure I even saw something here on a $250 spend your points event, but can’t seem to find it now. As long as I can remember, they have always offered the $250 – didn’t they already offer $210 a few months ago?

    • FallenPixels says:

They offered $220 a while back, previous posts were rumours – this is confirmed from a flyer
No idea if there will be a $250 one coming up, some people have been told yes and others have been told this is the last redemption of the year

  8. Leslie says:

I find Shoppers likes to play marketing games w/their customers. They giveth bonus offers, people go nuts & buy TONS, then Shoppers taketh away. They win. So I must agree with the rest of you, this seems to be a ploy to clean out people’s points before the big day.

  9. Carol says:

I heard a couple of cashiers talking and they said THIS was the big event, and they mentioned how it was not as good as in previous years.

  10. Carol says:

I’m happy because last weekend I got an xBox 360 with Kinect for my son for $20 (on sale for $199 and I redeemed 95000 points for $170). I bought a few other things and also used a printable coupon to save $10 when you spend $50. So I have no points left anyway!!!

  11. sugarcookie-sockmoster says:

not impressed SDM…not impressed at all

  12. B says:

Some time back there was a post “confirming” the redemption of $250 for 95,000 points. I would like to know why it is now $210?

  13. Katherine says:

I don’t see why people are complaining, it’s free money.

  14. Noor says:

whats a point if its a trick. It will only effect people like us who have hardly enough points for only one redemption and have not much choice. While others who collect lot…. of points from promos may be they don’t care much can spend now and still can have for later. But very hard for me to wait when mega rememption if there’s still any is completely in dark only a wish still.

  15. Ashley says:

People complain way too much!!! Its free stuff take it or leave it!
