Christmas Gifts Canada

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and got some marvelous gifts ๐Ÿ˜‰

I got a cologne and a *drum roll please* iPad!ย  Now I own a Macbook Pro, iPhone, iPod classic, iPod touch and now an iPad (none of which I had paid for) and can confidently say my life isย  complete ๐Ÿ˜›

I also made a few of people happy with my Christmas gifts but the biggest smile was on my sister’s face when she saw I had gotten her aย  violet Lululemon Scuba Hoodie ๐Ÿ™‚

Guess where I’ll be spending Boxing Day? At home! No more money spending for me surprised

What gifts did you get for Christmas? And whose day did you brighten with your gifts?

We surprised the kids with a planned disney trip very soon! They were spoiled rotten as per usual!

I didn’t really get too much as I just got a dyson before xmas ( I wanted one) and I got a Tassimo for my husband and I, but he didn’t know until today.

All in all it was a great time with family! ๐Ÿ™‚

I got spoiled again this year, too many to list but a few things were: A home theatre real popcorn machine (like the movies) I really wanted that, a stainless bread machine, a old railway stop clock I really wanted and tons more. It took the 3 of us 4 hours to open gifts, we laughed, we talked, we cried, it was a amazing day. I thank God for allowing us to have another healthy and happy Christmas together again this year :)Now off to sleep for a week lol.

Nothing really for me, but I did receive a Christmas Miracle. My son was born after 8 years of trying. He was spoiled rotten with baby clothes, and I couldn’t be happier. Holy, kid’s clothes are super expensive!!

Everything I got for my family was recieved well, especially my brother’s lego shirt. I didn’t get much, but what I did get, I was happy with.

We also had a flu going around the house, our dog ran away, and we had an electrical fire. And believe it or not, this Christmas was still better than the last 3.

  12. Peaches says:

Mom got out of the hospital which was the best present ever. On the material side I got a lovely blueberry face cleanser that I’d been hoping for (I kept leaving it up on the Internet so that hubby would get the hint – me bad), a beautiful new wallet, new gloves, and lots of things to make the house smell nice (I love scented products). It was a great Christmas.

I played the part of Santa this years to both family and strangers. I bought my 70-something parents a 37 inch LG LCD HDTV which they were floored about and my eight year old son got spoiled as usual with things like Stinky the Garbage truck, LeapFrog Tag system, NHL Slapshot for Wii and much more. I bought for DH and his two kids, a two night all expenses paid trip to a cottage, so they can spend some alone time with their dad when they come to visit us on the 28th. I also did my usual shelter donations and hopefully put some smiles on some strangers’ faces too. All in all, it was a very heartfelt giving Christams ๐Ÿ™‚

    A crystal ball on a stand,gift cards,lottery tickets,and lots of Christmas Sweets…..

  19. Greentires says:

I got my first Labtop ever which don’t get me wrong I had been asking for 5 years for one. I wasn’t so surprised I knew it was coming it think the shock is that I actually have two computers side by side. I also got 2x 15$ iTunes gift cards, stacks and stacks of cakes and chocolate. Even a 1kg bar or Belgium chocolate…

I suppose I splurged I got my sister Twilight movies i put it into a little bucket with glorious amounts of chips, popcorn, pop, and candy. She was shocked I think my dad was more like “how did you get that into the house without it being noticed” I suppose he didn’t get the concept that I put it together to look like that. I also got her the last book of the written series it was this small book about bree tanner. Also Betty Boop ornament that had sound.

I also went out and made careful planning to buy my dad The Beatles rockband pack for xbox 360 I got it for a deal the place I bought it at was 50 bucks cheaper then what they were selling it for at futureshop. The wrapping part was a challenge we wrapped the whole thing even left the handle out. You could tell he was really excited he opened up the tape on the product just to see what was inside even if on the back of the box it told ya. Also got him a Beatles ornament with the cartoon version of all the band members he searched around the base to see if there was sound but there was none sad really it probably be cool to hear or see some sort of action on that ornament.

It definitely was a different Christmas well from all the ones I would have with my family at least usually I don’t like going to the family affair to listen to stories of my past that to me aren’t so funny no more. I enjoyed myself yet at my relatives we definitely were put to sleep watching movie after movie on tv.

  22. Jo says:

It’s so great how young ones are so excited over the smallest things….what a way to look at things!!! Through the eyes of a child for just one day!!! Who cares what I got that was my best present!!!

  23. Faz says:

What wonderful stories of christmas cheer..but I was really touched by Tasha’s “precious gift”…congrats
Christmas to me is seeing the excitement in my 10 yr old son’s face when he opened his gift from Santa (whom he claims he does not beleive in)and it was what he really wanted – more than all the other gifts he got.

  24. Kathleen says:

My best gift was my son getting out of the hospital the day before Christmas. It’s funny how material things don’t seem to matter any more. I’m wishing all of you a happy and healthy new year.

  25. Dee says:

I agree, I think that’s the best gift of all Kathleen.

We don’t do gifts (well, we do stockings, but nothing to get too excited about) BUT this year we had a hotel/water slide getaway, Went to 5 or 6 Christmas events around town (Holiday Train, Zoo Lights etc.) and went to see a play. Lots of Turkey, lots of family, sledding etc. it was WONDERFUL to spend so much time with those who matter the most ๐Ÿ™‚

This year was the first Christmas for my son, my nephew and my niece. It was amazing to have 3 new additions to the family since we are already 17. I got a Kobo and some gold earrings. Also, my sisters and I always make each other presents and this year had the best turnout, everyone loved the potpourri I made and I loved their gifts as well.

    Can’t wait ’til next year
