That would be a lot of work to put together at this time of year! Wow! It’s certainly something that the kids would appreciate. Talk about school spirit.

Wrong would be the teacher lap-dance fiasco at a high school in Winnipeg last year. It made the national news after students filmed it using cell phones during an assembly.

This dance was well done. Thanks for posting, Boo.

It would be helpful to provide the you tube link too.
There isn’t even any indication of an embedded video on this page in my browser(no flash installed perhaps).

  9. Sally says:

I watched it, its cute but I seriously only like the original. This summer my best friend and I had a whole patio of (drunks) singing it with us, hehe good times.

Very fun, those students are lucky to have such great teachers. It makes the learning environment so much better when you can have a laugh with your teacher.

  22. kingy says:

this is only cool if you watch glee. otherwise, it is just another group of people singing. some pretty young looking teachers at that school.

  23. Andrea says:

Thank you for posting this, it totally is awesome! I’m a teacher too, and I know it’s hard to coordinate something on that large of a scale during the busy holiday season in your average school; so kudos to the staff there, they went above and beyond.

  24. cindy says:

So amusing, it reminds me of my high-school christmas assemblies ๐Ÿ˜€

Every year we had a christmas video (filmed in HD, between 10 and 25 minutes in length, really funny stuff filmed by the students for the students, with students and the occasional faculty member acting).

One year a bunch of students did the “we’re all in this together” dance from Highschool Musical – which really reminded me of this ๐Ÿ™‚ haha. Though this is much better music.

  25. PINKROSE says:

Nice!! Really young teachers there!! They almost look like students!! Really cool!! I love Glee!!

  26. Teresa says:

Absolutely one of the most awesome things I have seen this year. Kudos to the teachers for having the nerve to do this and they did an excellent job. To all the nay sayers out there, you better watch out, because you might just get a lump of coal in your stocking if you are always so negative. Enjoy that the teachers wanted to do something so special for the kids that they would have to spend a lot of their spare time practicing. I wish I had of went to a school like that when I was younger.

  27. Bean says:

WOW! Teachers that didn’t check out as soon as the bell rang. What a fantastic gift to give all of your students.
    Happy Holidays
    Love and Laughter

That was awesome! I can only hope that those teachers continue with that type of interaction. I would seriously loved to have been in that audience. Way to go teachers!!

  32. SuperM says:

Awesome – kudos to all the teachers for putting something on that big of a scale together… that is teamwork!

We have had teachers at my school do cool stuff – but never that huge. One year a science teacher (who always wears his lab coat – you know the type) and 4 senior students did a backstreet boys routine… hilarious!

  33. tinad says:

That was awesome to see! Talk about school spirit ๐Ÿ™‚

That was awesome, we had an assembly at our school where they got all the teachers and EA’s up and did african dancing. The kids just loved it. I on the other hand was very happy I was on my break at that particular moment LOL

  37. flow says:

So umm…it’s definitely not a good school to be a part of. In fact it was probably the worst time in my life to go there. But I did like a small percentage of my teachers,I LOVE YOU MR. SPARKS!!!

Having read this I believed it was rather informative. I appreciate you taking the time and energy to put this informative article together. I once again find myself personally spending a significant amount of time both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worth it!
