I went to a taping last year. It was pretty fun, a good way to spend the afternoon.
The guys were very nice and gracious. They even spent about 15 minutes in the middle of the taping taking pictures with audience members.
We also got some free stuff at the end. Some perfume and a book.
I would recommend it if you are able to go.

The taping I went to was in Toronto.
I found it a bit tedious – not a fan of the show I guess, but the freebies were pretty substantial.
I wonder if they tape in different cities. The website doesn’t even say where this takes place. I’d go for the free stuff.

Okay, first of all, CBC is THE BEST!
Secondly, all CBC shows have free tapings so this isn’t really a deal but an announcement of sorts. CBC is publicly owned which is radical!
Thirdly, do they still call them “tapings” since they haven’t used TAPE in a long time?
Has anybody gotten a reply yet? It says we’ll get emailed within 48 hours but I haven’t gotten any word. Should I send in another request?
