SuperPoints have indefinitely suspended their program. If you redeemed your points already, they are working on sending them out but if you were saving your points there is no way to redeem. Please read the notice on their website for more information.
Will my pending redemption still be paid out?
Yes, we will do our best to fulfill all redemptions submitted to Superpoints.com prior to 3:00 pm CST on November 7, 2012.
Why are you making such drastic changes?
There are several changes happening in the management of the Superpoints website and the economic conditions around supporting a rewards site. Those changes have prompted the suspension of the Superpoints.com website.
Is the site going down permanently?
The current team will no longer be the managing operator of the Superpoints.com domain and therefore we don’t have information as to whether or not Superpoints.com will resume service at a future date.

Wow so first I was 10pts away from redeeming when they took my referrals away so I was put into 1000pt redemption threshold, now they just close down?? Very disappointed

Agree, this sucks. I just needed 40 more points to qualify for my rewards. It was good while it lasted..
what about swagbucks,i got alot more points there.
Oh my gosh this sucks mega. But what I am glad of is that in September I redeemed for $20 Amazon codes and just a week ago I redeemed for another $10 in codes. I was probably about 200 points shy of another $5 so I didn’t loose too much.
Its too bad I only started in April as I could have had a lot more earnings. Jeez I am so glad I decided to redeem now instead of waiting closer to Christmas like I was seriously considering.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!! Thankfully I redeemed each time I collected enough points, but was so close to the next redemption. Very frustrating. I agree that warning would have been nice.
sounds a lot like when Boomertown shut down….if you have the points saved up at whatever site for a small redemption, redeem it! Don’t wait or you may loose it.

And here I was, 8 points away from Paypal cashout and lost it all now! (I should’ve cashed out on the 600 point Amazon yesterday morning!) Oh, well, at least it wasn’t Swagbucks.
Being in the US (of Canadian descent, though), I wonder if Superpoints’ shut down had something to do with Obama’s re-election? Coincidence in timing. 😛
