I’d love to know what the 6 weeks of free gifts are. Also, the fine print says that it’s not valid online, but I was able to add it to my cart when I went to their website, so I’m not sure what that’s about.
I don’t *really* need anything at all from them right now, but they’ve got me almost hooked with that ‘Six weeks of free gifts’ thing!

Just called my local Body Shop. Basically, you get 6 coupons, each valid for a different week. You bring it in along with the original receipt and you get a FREE gift, no strings attached! Unfortunately, she couldn’t tell me what the gifts were but she said she heard they were really good : )

yeah, i think i’ll get the bag, one item (the men’s all in one shampoo/body wash is a hit in my house) and then snag the free gifts!

So I went and got myself a little something at the Body Shop, took part in this promo and got a little envie with 6 coupons. Unfortunately, there’s not very much info on them to share, but I will post what I do have which is the time frame of each:
November 14 – 20, 2010: Come in to redeem this coupon for your free gift
November 21 – 27, 2010: ditto
November 28 – December 4, 2010: ditto
December 5 – 11, 2010: ditto
December 12 – 18, 2010: ditto
December 19 – 24, 2010: ditto
On the back of each coupon is the terms and conditions:
“This coupon entitles customers to a free git between when to when at any The Body Shop store in the US, Mexico or Canada. Only original coupons will be accepted, which must be surrendered at the time of purchase. Limit one coupon per customer. Free item cannot be returned or exchanged. Wow, sounds like a great deal. Now with the 30% off, does anyone know if i can purchase one of the gift items and get the 30% off? Or does it have to be one item (such as their creams, body butters, etc). Thanks!
Unfortunately it was only valid on single items, and not gift sets. I tried to save on those sets as Christmas present fillers but was unable to. Not sure if that was only because of my particular store though.
I bought the bag today just for the coupons. Didn’t bother buying anything else as the discount is only good for the single items, not the gift sets. The manager showed me the first freebie-it’s one of their mini body butters. I think it retails for around $8.
Thanks stuffedpandapuppet… i had a feeling that they wouldn’t give the 30 off the gift sets. That would have been a better deal!
Thanks Alexi for sharing. I think i’m just going to buy the bag as well. at least some of the money goes to charity, right? I was wondering what type of gifts they were giving away for free. Sounds like it’s only “small things” However, that’s better than nothing! 🙂
Just as Alexi said, the free gift during November 14 – 20 is their mini body butters worth $8. I did try to get it out of the associate what the next gifts are, but she said they don’t find out til the day before the week starts.
I went to the store yesterday and recd a full size Coconut Shimmer Body Butter as my 1st free gift.
The mini body butter, $5 off any purchase coupon and some samples were the freebies that I recd last week when I bought the bag and some items. I had a Groupon too. So got an awesome deal 🙂
I went to redeem my coupon for a free mini Satsuma body butter today. When I got home and pulled the item out of the bag, the coupon was there! Aren’t they supposed to take it?!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I picked up my second week’s free gift this evening – it’s the smaller size tube of the Hemp Hand Protector for very dry skin. Worth $10. It’s really nice – just in time for winter!
Picked up my week three gift today, shower gel or shower cream wash valued ~$12-16.50 reg. They still sell the bags, and honestly, if you start this week, you still get 4 gifts, and still totally worth it! All the gifts seem to average around $10, so you’d get about a $40 value, plus the bag itself (which is organic cotton and quite nice) and the $2 to charity… all for the $5.

i went to Scarb town and had to choose either Dewberry or Wild Cherry shower gel (gift for week of Nov 29). was this the same everywhere?? for some reason, i feel like other places would have better items…
I got the mango gel, a cream would be nice because it is winter. I’m excited to see what the next gift is.
Didn’t get the hemp hand cream as it was sold out last week, they offered me a mini body butter instead, thought this was kinda unfair since its cheapter than the original gift. meh …
This week’s gift is a camomile eye make up remover, worth $14.50.
I went for the week of nov 29 my shop only offered the one shower gel which was sweet lemon, but I would have choose that one regardless!
This week Dec 5- 11 was camomile eye make up remover as well!
