Not so much a deal per se, but I’ve stumbled across a free online version of the original F Scott Fitzgerald short story, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Considering the film is such a hot topic amongst movie goers right now, I thought some of you might enjoy giving this one a quick read. I haven’t seen the film yet, but the story is wonderful. It definitely has me booking a date to get out to the movie theater.
The online text is part of a full online reprint of Tales of the Jazz Age, the collection in which Benjamin Button first appeared. If you liked the story, why not check out the others? You can find the Table of Contents for Tales of the Jazz Age here.
i dont know , about this. Read few pages …..he is already 18 yrs old but no mention of quinnie?
it’s only 10 pages long! wow
seems that the movie has almost no relation to the book, only takes the general story line
That is great! Do you think you can put together a PDF as well? I think that would be a much more convenient format. Thanks.
From the first page this is NOTHING like the movie. Its a completely different story… the only kind of same thing is him being old when he is born, but he doesnt act like he is old. He acts like he is his age, he just looks old.
The movie is amazing and I really recomend everyone goes and see’s it ! 🙂
10/10 stars 🙂
It made me cry! 🙁 so bring tissues
i was pleasantly surprised to find out that F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote the short story upon which the movie Benjamin Button was based, (they mention this in the opening credits)
