I have to chuckle at the reminder “not to litter and throw your cup out in the garbage” given the amount of waste promotions like this create.

  2. Courteney says:

My first RUTR coffee and I won a donut! My boyfriend also texted me this morning and said on his first coffee he won a free coffee. 🙂 I love this promotion- although I just tried the Starbucks Blonde roast and it’s pretty tasty…. 🙂

  3. Cbou says:

I like the reminder about not to litter.
I hate to take walks and find those paper cups lying around. I use to see them everywhere!

  4. michele says:

In Nova Scotia you recycle your Tim’s cups!! Good Luck with the winning!!

  5. elle says:

^yeah just rinse it out with water and put it in the recycling!

  6. denise says:

They don’t recycle them here in Newfoundland–you just have to trash them. Sad.

  7. AnnV says:

Coffee cups aren’t considered “recyclable” at all facilities. For example, Guelph ON (where I live) considers coffee cups & lids to be waste and won’t/don’t recycle them.

  8. pindabear says:

Hubby and I got a tea and coffee this morning, and we both won a free coffee yippe 2 for 2 so far. I am from Guelph as well, they cant recycle the coffee, and drink cups anymore as they use wax in them, so they are just waste.

  9. Bargain Seeker says:

Can’t wait to see what I win this time.

  10. savingnontario says:

bought two coffees this morning and won two free ones 🙂

  11. rain4ever says:

My SIL bought me a tea this morning and I won a free coffee!! Woohoo!

  12. Cathy says:

My MIL uses them to grow tomatoes indoors, they’re the perfect size and can fit in a to-go tray 😀

  13. J says:

Bought a small coffee and won a coffee.

  14. HappyCouponSaver78 says:

waste of cups after you drink out of them. Even I win something small, I do not like Tims because I am eating out of a healthier diet than this

I seen a Dr Oz demo on sugar that is natural and sugar in a donut; the blood sugar rises when you eat a donut and the blood congeals to a sticky and horrible mess see the Dr Oz demo on his website

  15. Nadine says:

Won a free coffee or latte! First cup! 🙂

  16. Laura says:

how about throwing your cup out in the recycle bin! try to save those trees!

  17. Deb says:

Free coffee here as well! 🙂
Southern Ontario – we recycle the lids & compost the cups – no trash here 🙂

  18. Laura says:

(sorry I didn’t read above posts, already mentioning recycling)

  19. Lori says:

@HappyCouponSaver78: Could you post a link to the Dr. Oz video? I can’t seem to find it and I would really like to see it.

  20. Butterfly says:

Bought 3 medium teas and won nothing 🙁

  21. Jasmine says:

    Free coffee!! yeah!

  22. brooklynsmomma says:

can’t wait to win! i also hate the littered cups everywhere. it’s not the cups fault, it’s the people’s fault. don’t throw your garbage on the ground! use a garbage can or better yet a recycling bin. maybe people need to see garbage ocean to actually see what they are doing to our dying planet…

  23. Chelsey says:

Went to study tonight at a Tim’s, and I rolled up mine.. nothing, as usual. The man next to me, I suppose saw me roll up my rim, which reminded him to…. HE WON $500! Wow! A bit sad because I could desperately use $500 as I am a broke university student, but good on him! =)

  24. bradeau says:

I’ve seen people throwing them out the windows from their cars… on the highway. Crazy. It’s bad enough that they toss the cigarettes out the windows, but coffee cups? Really?

Free coffee on first cup! yay

  27. outdoorsygal says:

People – are you forgetting about the use of green bins?
I use used Timmie’s cups to line the biodegradeable bag inside the kitchen size green bin. PERFECT for all the bacon grease and organic slop that likes to gather at the bottom of the bags and break down the bags. makes it easeier and YES – the green bin program accepts the cups – check out your local are though.

  28. Sandra says:

Does Tim Horton’s mention the end date? I love their regular coffee, but their lattes are awful. Sandra

  29. Me says:

    “it’s not the cups fault”

REALLY? You felt the need to make sure no one was blaming the cups? o_0

  30. Tom says:

LIft up the lip to lose.

  31. Butterfly says:

Bought a medium tea and won a free coffee/latte today. Also to those that end up needing paper trays to carry their coffee, make sure to keep the tray and you can bring it back to Tim Horton’s they gladly accept clean trays and reuse them. Cheers!

  32. dolphin lover says:

yay!!!! st catharines composts coffee cups!!!! great to have rutr back!!!!! yummmm!!!

  33. dolphin lover says:

    Love my Double D”s!!!lol

  34. couponmom81 says:

I work at Tim Hortons and we will NOT take back trays to reuse as it is cross contamination. If people hand us used trays back we toss them in the recycle.

  35. Annie says:

“I work at Tim Hortons and we will NOT take back trays to reuse as it is cross contamination. If people hand us used trays back we toss them in the recycle.”………..I wondered about that. Thanks for clarifying.

  36. Kimmy says:

  37. Sharon says:

  38. Sallycat says:

You don’t have to drink coffee to play rutr.
The cups come with any hot beverage.
I really like their apple-cinnamon tea.
    Haven’t won anything yet.
