Today, Tim Hortons and its 1,500 restaurant owners across Canada expanded the availability of the Nova Scotia Strong donut, to support those affected by the terrorizing heartbreaking events in the province. The Nova Scotia Strong donut is now on sale nationwide and 100 per cent of the proceeds are being donated to the Canadian Red Cross Stronger Together Nova Scotia Fund in support of individuals, families and communities impacted by the recent tragedy.
The donut originally launched in Nova Scotia on Sunday. Given the urgent push to start fundraising, the Nova Scotia Strong donut design will vary by restaurant depending on what supplies owners have available.
