Escape fares on select routes at VIA Rail Canada have gone on sale once again this week and in this sale you’ll be able to save on both Economy class as well as Sleeper class tickets. You will have to select the ‘escape fare’ option to receive the discounts and you must book your ticket before 11:59pm EST tonight.

If you’re looking at Economy class escape fare tickets, then you will have to book your days of travel for between Wednesday, May 6th and Tuesday, May 12th (inclusive) for the short-haul trips within the Quebec-Windsor corridor. While those of you booking long-haul trips will have a bit longer to book your trips, as the last possible day for travel will be Tuesday, June 2nd.

Sleeper class tickets will follow similar restrictions, but there are a limited number of tickets available at the discounted rates, so you had better act fast if you are booking for a larger party to ensure you are able to accommodate everyone.
