VIA Rail Canada is making your travel plans for this summer a much more affordable endeavour, as they have recently dropped the Economy class fares for kids ages 2-11 to be just $15. And even if your child is travelling in Business, Sleeper or Sleeper Plus class they will still get to pay a discounted price, but not quite as low as the $15 Economy class ticket.

This offer is valid for summertime travel across Canada, meaning your child could travel all the way from Toronto to Winnipeg for just $15, so long as the travel times are between June 19th to September 7th (inclusive). You will also have a rather flexible booking time, as the promotion allows for you book your ticket up until September 7th!

Remember that kids under the age of 7 cannot travel alone and that children under that age of 2 travel for free.

To receive the discount you will have to select Escape Fare, Economy Class or the Economy Plus option, after which the discount will automatically be reflected in the advertised price.
