There is a better alternative. Perhaps buy one quality backback instead of wasting time, money, and space in a landfill on junky ones from Walmart? We bought our kids Louis Garneau backpacks (one from Renault Bray, the other from Yellow) and they have lasted and are still going strong. My oldest daughter will be finishing her third school year with hers in June.
