Yeah worked for me too and what is great is you can pick them up as well (same day) Forthose of you who say it doesnt work try again and make sure you upload 50 pics sizes 4X6 and try to Capitalize the word MOM in the promo box. Maybe that will work. good luck

I tried it with 48 prints and it did not work, but when I changed it to 50 prints it DID work.
my order isnt showing up in order status and i accidentally had a spelling error in my email address when i made the account but didnt realize until i placed the order with the promo code. So i didnt get the email it said I would get…when you got that email does it have anything to finalize the order or should the order have gone through? I cant figure out why its not in my order status when i click on it. I am headed up there soon and it will have been over an hour since placing the order so i hoped they would be ready for pick up…any thoughts?

Last time I used a free walmart print promo I found the quality of the pics to be horrible. Ended up throwing most away and buying them else where.
Can someone post what the quality of their pics are like that have used this promo?
For free photos, it’s an awful lot of work… the uploader doesn’t even list photos in alphabetical order. It’s a pain when I’m trying to select IMG010740.jpg from a random list between 010690 and 010799… Too much trouble for what it’s worth for me.
I’ll stick with Costco’s prints. The quality is superb, and it’s very inexpensive. And the uploader sorts files.
I live in Ontario and it worked for me! Walmart just called to tell me my free pics are ready for pick-up. You have to open and account first, then make sure you have exactly 50 ordered. No more, no less. Thanks for a great deal!
i just went and picked up my pictures and dident look at them in the store(iv never had a problem with them before) and to my suprise when i get home EVERY picture is blurry!!!!!! … im so glad it only cost 2$ or id be super pissed… especially because i dont drive(i got a ride there)so i cant bring them back…. so this was a bad experience for me.. lol ( i was looking forward to some nice pics of my babygirl) =(

It worked for me in Ontario. I had 56 prints and had no problem, Just have to pay $0.19 each for the additional 6 prints. I have never had a problem with the quaility of the prints. If a photo is low quaility, they have a warning symbol beside the print in the shopping cart. Mine also sorted alphabetically in the uploader.
When you go to order prints, if a blue triangle caution thing shows up beside the quantity of each picture YOUR PICTURES WILL BE BLURRY! This is telling you that your pictures are not good enough quality!
I don’t see the problem with the uploader- I rather liked that it was drag and drop friendly! I thought it was a super easy way to upload, I just dragged all of the pictures I wanted, out of iphoto, directly to the uploader page, and boom, easy. I only used high resolution photos, so I don’t expect any of them to be blurry- there IS a warning, to tell you if they will be though- seemed like a good experience to me, I just need to pick them up to see for sure that all turned out well.
If so, this is a pretty convenient way for me to send prints to my mom who’s all the way across the country, and have her pick them up at her Walmart:)

***The warning symbols of low quality*** were not an issue with me! I do know what they mean! The pictures I printed with the last promo were from our wedding photographer. They were AMAZING quality. The pixels when they printed at walmart were HORRIBLE. Yet the ones I PAID for were fine.
I have found this with 2 of their promos. The freebies absolutely sucked!
Comparing my paid photos from walmart to my shutterfly ones also had a huge difference. The colour was so much better.

My sales girl did a double take as well. All my pics turned out clear except for one which wasn’t a good quality pic anyways. The only problem was some of them were cropped, but that’s ok. I even had some copyrighted pics and professional pics that they did as well….surprised I got those. Very happy for pics even if I would have paid for them.
I got this as a freebie once and the quality is fine 🙂 i think it depends on your digital camera…? I’m not quite sure.

The_Scarecrow- If you look, there is an option to crop your pictures yourself (when you view your cart, and choose sizes, etc), instead of having them auto-cropped. I have yet to go pick up my photos, but I did crop them all myself, to the proper 4×6 size, otherwise I am sure some of them would have been auto-cropped in inappropriately.
Ya, I saw the crop option after I oredered them…only 3 of them could have been cropped better… no biggie.

yeah i would just like to add it never warned me about my quality of pics.. i have a fujifilm finepix camera.. pixels are amazing.. the quality of MY photos were deffinatly not the issues.. it was there printer that sucked.. and the fact that nobody checks the pictures to make sure there right before they sell them
I picked up my prints today and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the prints. I got the warning on a couple of the images but proceeded to have them processed anyway. Looks good!!

Just picked up my pictures- they aren’t amazing, but they definitely aren’t bad. Great to stick in the photo albums, that I have been neglecting, because I never bother getting my photos printed:) Even if they were 19 cents a piece, it isn’t bad. Very convenient, too.
(I should point out that none were blurry, either).

I noticed a change in quality of my photos as well (and no the blue triangle indicating poor resolution was not present). My photos were blurry and not really a good deal considering I’ll be reprinting them somewhere else!

I guess its my own fault for not reading all of the fine print but thank you for bringing that to my attention. Some people might not be bothered by that, but I am! I’m deleting my account…. (besides, as mentioned above, my pictures sucked anyway!!!)

Oh, darn. I have to side with Madchives on this one. Why does Walmart have to reserve the right to use our images in every possible way in the future? Facebook got in heaps of trouble for this and they had to back down. Costco’s photo centre doesn’t reserve that right, except for the sole purpose of processing your pictures.
Sure, it’s a nice promo, but shouldn’t entitle them to own images of my family to do whatever they please. Bye bye privacy. I encourage everyone to pressure Walmart to remove this from their terms and conditions. Until they do, they can count me out, no matter how great the promotion. Hopefully others will stand up to it as well.

Justine, you have to order 50. Yes, you pick up the physical prints at the store. You will get an email first confirming your order, then another one when they are ready for pickup.
My photos are fine – I KNEW some of them wouldn’t be great, but took a chance on some of them anyway – a few were dark, one out of focus – but I knew that before I ordered. Others were great, totally fine quality.
Nice that they put the ID of the pics on the back!
i ordered some to put in my X-mas cards. I also ordered ehe 25 free ones at Costco. The Walmart ones aren’t great but they are good enough for what I need them for. I will pick up the cosco ons later today.

I live on Vancouver Island and this worked for me! I had some issues with the actual website trying to get my photo’s uploaded but once they were all there it was all good! I submitted them this morning and an hour later I got an email saying they were ready for pickup. No hassle at the store and my pictures turned out great! 🙂

I ordered my prints on Tuesday night, and went in-store to pick them up this afternoon. The quality isn’t horrible, but it isn’t great. I’m satisfied. HOWEVER, there’s this faint white line that seems to show up on all of my pictures…

I’ve hit 2 Walmarts already for the free prints, and that leaves 2 more for me, and one that I can hit when I visit my parents this weekend. I have been printing off hi-def images from Google (seasons, flowers, nature, etc) that I will group together in frames from Dollarama (no one knows the difference once everything is in a frame). I will also print out some hi-def old retro print ads and hang 20-30 in the bathroom for those long times in there as reading material. lol.

I’m sure that all the promo code are one-time use per account.
Try copy and paste, so there’re no typing error. ( highlight 50MOM or Bonus50 ) I’ve tried enter it on the same account, it didn’t work.
If there is still a problem…then maybe the code did expire.

To Wendy (post138) – Different walmart location prints different quality…some are poor but some are good. So try different walmart location. my personal experience!
Not working anymore the 50MOM code and, the Bonus50 or 50Bonus is for 50 free when you buy 50. However I found that if you sign up on the Kodak photogallery they give 25 free pics. Here’s the link. Haven’t tried it yet though.

Sorry, it’s actually 20 free but, amazing Kodak quality. It will tell you throughout your order that you have to pay s&h but, when you go at check out and, do pick up (your choices are at Future Shop & Best Buy only for what I see) they take away the shipping charges and, it becomes completley free. Yes had to open a new account but, 50MOM doesn’t work anymore. Walmart said was abuse on this promo code and, cancelled it. The Bonus50 is bogo buy 50 get 50 so, whoever called them and, Walmart said would bring total down to 0$ in store will probably be really disappointed as that’s not what the promotion is.
I did this promo on Tues night and picked up my photos on weds! Quality wasn’t terrible but wasn’t superb either. I printed out a bunch of announcement photo cards for my brother and his new baby girl 🙂 Thank you for the information
