  2. DianneS says:

Hmmm…why is West 49 having their warehouse sale in the East??? Hope there is one out here on the west coast.

  3. Kyla says:

I’ll bet they will. They’ve closed a bunch of warehouses since billabong bought West 49. A lot of people lost their jobs because of it. :/

Wicked, this is right around the corner from my work, I’ll have to check it out on my way home

  8. JSAM's Mom says:

Does anybody know what their hours are, and are there long line ups? I was thinking of dropping by on my lunch tomorrow if possible. Thanks!

  9. Edna says:

Kyla could you please tell us how your shopping goes?

  10. Kyla says:

    My total was $92.75. 🙂

I purchased a DC Women’s sweater at $14.99, three women’s shirts at $4.99 each, and westbeach snowboard pants at $52. All their winter jackets and snowboard pants are marked down an additional 25% off of the last ticketed price. 🙂

My boyfriend purchased three jackets, two flannels, and a hat for just under $200 after taxes.

They do have a lot of stuff and was busier after 3pm when we were leaving. I recommend going before then because then there won’t be school kids at the time. 😛 Great prices and good selection going on. Not a good selection of shoes is all I’m going to say though haha.

  11. Kyla says:

Oh and I also just wanted to let you guys know that they don’t do Access Pass points like they do at the outlets and they don’t take the West 49 gift cards there as well because the systems they have aren’t set up for it. Happy shopping! 🙂

Happy to see how successful your shopping trips were!

  13. kathy says:

is it still worth checking out? I’m in Toronto, so it would be a drive.. plus the sale already started.. maybe there’s nothing really good left?

  14. Nate says:

I am tempted to go, but I have a feeling going now would be useless since anything good would have been snatched up already.

  15. Ivan says:

I went yesterday and spent around $75 for 4 shirts + 1 short pants + 1 t-shirt. I’d say if you live no more than half an hour away, then perhaps it’s worth to check it out. Otherwise forget it. All the sizes are probably gone by now unless you’re XL and up.

  16. JSAM's Mom says:

I went today and there was still lots left. I picked up 2 men’s t-shirts ($5 each), 4 long sleeve men’s shirts ($10 each), a men’s fall jacket ($25), and 2 sets of earbuds ($5/set). My coworker picked up an awesome Billabong snow jacket, reg. $350 for $75, some hats, gloves and mitts for herself, and a hoodie for her daughter ($15).

There were still lots of ladies’ backpacks and purses, flipflops. There are lots of ladoes’ winter jackets, but not many snowpants left. Men’s jackets, there were 3 round racks (S, M & L/XL), all 25% off last ticketed price, but no men’s snowpants. Ladies jeans started at $10, and men’s were all $15. Tons of tshirts for both men and ladies, a decent amount of long sleeve shirts. Some men’s shorts, lots of skirts. They had ladies hoodies, but none for men. I peeked in the back room when the door was open, and there was still more stock in there, so I’m pretty sure they’re replenishing every day. Hope this helps!

Could someone please tell me the hours they are open on the weekend??

I went today at 2pm and it was somewhat packed – lots of younger teens/tweens, and the checkout lineup was quite long as they only had 2 cash registers working. It was also somewhat picked over for the jeans and girls shoes (I didn’t see any mens shoes), and the dresses were mostly the short plaid styles or a tiny black tulle type thing, but they had tons of girls t-shirts left. I would say it was worth it because it seems like they did a little more marking down and I got great deals!
    7 pairs girls jeans – $4.99 each
    1 pair girls sneakers – $4.99
    3 pairs earbuds – $4.99
    3 dresses – $20 for all 3 (they had 2 for $25 and 1 for $9.99)
    2 vests – $4.99 each
    1 men’s backpack – $15.99

I’m sorry I didn’t check the store hours, but if you are thinking of going I would do it soon because I don’t think there will be much left to choose from.

Just a thought about the sale–West 49’s head office is in Burlington, but further east (in the industrial area) of the plaza site. Maybe that is why the warehouse sale is there.
