Western Fair London Ontario, Canada Final Days To Purchase Your Tickets, and Rides In Advance and Save

The London Ontario Western fair starts this weekend!  To me it’s always a marker that the fall is near.  I’ve only gone a few times over the years but I went last year and my little guy had a blast.  He got to see baby pigs that were being born and he thought it was the coolest thing since swiss cheese.  If you are attending you have today and tomorrow to buy your tickets in advance and save yourself some money.  Advance entry tickets save you $4 and you can get ride all day passes for only $30!

I have a 3yo, and we have never been to Western Fair. Is it a good idea to buy the ride-all-day pass? Do I just buy one for him, or do I need to buy one for him and I?
    Thanks!

If you want to go on the rides with him then youll have to have a pass too, but there is a HUGE kid area that my son spent all his time on and I didn’t go on any with him so I would just buy him one and stay in kiddie land rides, theres slides, mazes, trains, cars etc.

Western fair is not what it use to be. I remember when I was a kid, over 30 yrs ago, travelling to the western fair was a 2 day event.

1 day was doing going through the buildings, looking at the exhibits, and all the farm animals. The 2nd day was midway, from open to close.

the last time I was at the fair( I live less than 10 min to the fairgrounds) the total time I spent was less than 3 hrs. there was nothing to see that interested me. All the good stuff that use to interest me, hasn`t been in seen in years…

The `free` grandstand show that they use to have( saw Jerry Reed, charlie daniels band, The Box, sass Jordon was a back up singer for them, and the oak ridge boys) now cost $39 to see.

Thanks Sally! Petty, I live in Downtown London, not sure why we have never been there before, but we may go this weekend!

A lot of things have changed in 30 years everywhere, not just the western fair. Gosh I remember 15 years ago going to see Our Lady Peace in the grandstands and it still cost over $30, so thats nothing new. 🙂

The Western Fair is SO much fun. Im not a ride person at all! The most I do is the Tilt -a- Whirl and maybe the Himalaya, I am more of a game person. but I still have tons of fun! I highly recommend going, it is so much fun for the whole family 🙂
