I’m curious how many of us Sc’ers went shopping on Boxing day to shop shop shop! I personally ended up at Walmart in the afternoon so the boys could check for a game, other then that there wasn’t much I was interested in. Online, that was a different story. I hit up Old Navy online, Sears for their outlet sale, Amazon and Chapters. I found so many great deals I don’t really remember what I all ordered, but I do know they were great deals (haha). We are already pretty set in our house for gadgets and tv’s etc so there wasn’t too much that was actually on my list, however my eyes are open for good sales on dining room tables.

I bought a couple Christmas ornamenet storage boxes on sale, and some new outdoor decorations. I haven’t exchanged gifts with my friend yet, and I scored a really awesome Michael Jackson jukebox tree ornament that plays 3 MJ songs for 1/2 price LOL She’s going to love it.
hubby got his light duty air compressor. we’re traveling in a couple of weeks so got some immodium (coupon for that!) and pepto bismol ;p
that was pretty much it really hehe.
Use some glorox coupons for free stuff and got an great iPad case at futureshop for 10 bucks
I always buy 1/2 price fruit cake at Safeway every year.Also Sweets at Shoppers,sometimes for 75%off.Often wait until candles,Christmas stuff is really cheap.One Shoppers I go to has stuff on a portable wheel-in shelving unit with items that were once 5 to 10 dollars going for $1 or $2.Today I got toothpaste and expensive cough drops for a dollar…..I go to 4 different shoppers and they all do there mark-downs differently.

finally bought a Canon T1i digital SLR at Best Buy
Got 3 dresses from Rickis (clearence and then 50% off on top of the sale price) for $10 – $20 each. Also got some tops from there too ranging from $2.50 – $15 each. Hubby and I got way too many pairs of shoes from the Geox outlet (lowest ticket price 25% if you buy 2 or more) including 3 pairs of golf shoes, 2 pairs of walking shoes for hubby, 2 pairs of shoes for me, and 3 pairs of shoes for our little girl. Hubby also got pants from Sears (clearence and then 50% off when you use your Sears card)that range from $10 – $25 each. Oh yea, we got some chocolate too…all and all, a very good boxing week so far. 🙂

Some of those videos from “People of Wal-Mart” were funny. I think that the one of the worst job would have to be working at the customer service counter at a Wal-Mart or Zellers store after Christmas. I went to walmart and got some diapers and wipes on sale. I also purchased all of my wrapping paper for next year.

I went to walmart last night and found holiday packs of bic soleil disposable razors for 7.00, regularly 15.00 each for a pacl of six razors. Also included is a mail in coupon for a 15.00 itunes gift card on each package. On the coupon it only asks for the original coupon from inside the box and the original upc barcode to be mailed in. There was no statement limiting it to one per person or household! Talk about a deal!
Got the Canon Rebel from future shop for $499 plus tax which also included a free lens($200 value) and carrying case ($50 value) and i also bought a 16 gig memory card for $30 regular $90. all at future shop. in my opinion future shop had the best deals

We avoided the lineups and the freezing weather and shopped online. We bought a new laptop & washer & dryer set from Futureshop. Got the laptop now and loving it; I paid $350 for a unit that was normally $499-599 and washer and dryer set saved about $400.
I went out to walmart at 5:30,turns out our store wasn’t one of the ones open at 6, so i was in line for 1.5 hours, it was COLD !!!! I did get a new bed spread, 19 storage containers and 1 box of chocolates. I was the 8th person in line and and ppl were pushing me, as they ran down the isles to the electronics department. It was crazy, but still glad i went.
P.S. I only realized i forgot my walmart gift card that i got for christmas after being in line for an hour. lol

While no one in our family went out on actually boxing day, dad went to WM yesterday and was still able to score the huge Rubbermaid bin for our XMAS decoration for $6 and a frying pan for $10… he also got the Glucosamine for 40% but forgot to use the $3 off coupon in his pocket (OOOPS!) He was in a hurry to get home to get back to work so I can’t really blame him!
Still not too bad for going on Wednesday!!! I might check out the Old Navy Store online on NYE.. hope the sale applies there as well!
