What’s Your Favourite Potato Chip Canada?

mv

I have a craving for my all-time love, Miss Vickies Jalapeño Chips. Ever since I tasted this chip, I’ve never been quite satisfied with anything else I’ve tried. I love spicy food, and this is the only variety of jalapeño chip that satisfies me. Nicely seasoned, with a bit of heat but not overwhelmingly spicy. So Canada, what’s your favourite potato chip?

Salt and Vinegar from Kettle. All kettle chips are spectacular, to be honest, but the salt and vinegar is just exceptional.

The Maui Onion are Tim’s Cascade chips. They also make Jalapeno and original. Those are the only flavours available in Canada.
    The Jalapeno are my favourite.

  39. operabob says:

Hardbite. They’re made in Maple Ridge, BC and were successful on Dragon’s Den.

The yellow bag is great for those of us with high BP. Only 1% sodium yet they taste like a real chip 95% of the time (some bags lack taste occasionally).

    They are Kettle cooked.

  88. Chippy says:

When I’m in the mood for hot, Death Rain Habanero. For flavor the Death Rain Buffalo Wing chips are awesome……

  89. DebD says:

I like many of them but some of my favs are the PC brands-buffalo wings and blue cheese and their greek feta.

I recently tried one of the new Doritos…they have 1st degree burn, 2nd degree and 3rd degree burn. I tried the 2nd degree…and ended up having to drink 3 glasses of milk to cool my mouth after. Yummy but pretty spicy!!

  90. bobbi says:

My home-bound friend loved the PC brand sour cream and onion chips. I tried to find some for her but they are now discontinued. She said they had the right balance of powder and flavour. Does anyone know of another brand with a similar taste?

She doesn’t like Lays or or the yellow no-name brand.

  91. Larry says:

Hey! Sally who enjoys Cape Cod Sea Salt and Vinegar – if you are looking for them in Canada, go to T&T (the chinese grocery store chain). They’ve got them. Locations in most majors cities, and 7 in Toronto/GTA.

Good luck. We’re all counting on you.

  92. Andrew S says:

I love Ol’ Grandad’s Classic Gourmet Potato Chips. They usually sell out at Giant Tiger very quickly – especially the Regular Flavour ones. You can’t eat just a couple. The bag’s empty before you know it. 🙂

  93. saver says:

i love Miss Vickies Salt N Vinegar…however trying to stay away from potato chips.
