Would you wear Shoesbootpants?

Shoes Boots Pants Canada

I came across this Shoes-Boots-Pants invention on reddit and was wondering if you would wear it if it ever became fashionable (hopefully never)?

And what would you do if you entered a guest’s house and had to take off your shoes? 😛

to me they are super ugly, but maybe a goth might wear them.Certainly someone who likes attention.I would too shy to wear them.

  2. Digi says:

    Strangely enough, I like them.
I mean, they already make lace up pants like those, just with the shoes NOT attached…not much different (in terms of looks).

  3. recessionisnotfun says:

If I were 16 again, I’d wear em. They’re unique, and I love unique things lol.

  4. Ashley says:

I work in a retail store that sells things that are very fashion forward and a lot of people make comments about the clothes…so I just say “You’re right, I guess you just have to have the right personality to pull something like that off!” And it’s the same thing with those shoe boot pants!

  5. Natalka says:

    No, they’re fugly.

  6. julyprincess says:

Although I would never wear them (can’t even imagine where I would put them..in my clothes closet or shoe closet? or how I should fold them or hang them) BUT..I find them quite unique…

  7. aussie says:

    No thanks!!!!

  8. Anne Dougherty says:

Well…do they have to have the worlds ugliest shoes on the bottom? That’s my biggest concern, cause nevermind the pants, I wouldn’t wear those shoes erm…EVER!lol

  9. Sally says:

ALL I can picture is someones ass hanging out of them

  10. cdylan says:

I would soooo wear those if I was a teenager….

  11. Katherine says:

With my luck, I’d be “lacing” them up and realize at the top that I missed a hole and have to start over. I wouldn’t wear them, but I could definately see them being worn.

Would you wear socks with them? Or are they more of a jump suit (pj’s with feet) kind of thing.

  12. anisa says:

    ahhh,
i can see all the little teen poseurs running out to buy them now.

  13. Peach684 says:

Not sure i’d wear them with my thighs but i like them! Cetainly makes your legs look long!

  14. Celine says:

How would you even “sized” them??? I mean, it’s not every one wearing pants size 10 that wear shoe size 7… I can see me 10 year old daughter wanting to wear this and I can also hear myself saying NO…
How can you even wash them? do you realy want to put your shoe in the wash??

  15. Shannon says:

I can only imagine how much time it would take to lace them up in the morning!!!!

  16. Romana says:

    no.

  17. couponfreak says:

I cant get over the sizing problem. I could see wearing them (in black) as an alternative to pantyhose with the right dress.(with a better pair of shoes maybe more of a dress boot look on the bottom)and something other than the extreme amount of lacing like if lacing only went half way up would actually be a pretty smart alternative to boots.

  18. Iwannadeal says:

But if you have heavy flabby thighs, you can just pull the laces tight! Like Spanx with laces.

  19. ghemotoc says:

No, definitely no! And, I hope I can teach my girl what it means to look nice and fashionable without wearing this “unique/ugly” pants!

  20. Theresa says:

Bit embarrassing if you went somewhere that asked you to remove your shoes. LOL!!! I have a feeling my 12 year old daughter would think they were awesome. YIKES!!!!!

  21. celine says:

no. They are so ugly to me.

  22. Heather says:

I probably would have when I was a teenager – I remember wearing a skirt over my jeans, but I definatly would not now!

  23. matrix82 says:

I guess I am in the minority in thinking those are the coolest things. If they would fit me correctly, I’d wear them, not to work, but for hanging around with friends and that sure.

  24. jacquie says:

not in a million years! You couldn’t PAY me to wear those, even if they were FREE.

  25. momof5boys says:

    They are hugely ugly….

  26. Puddin57 says:

Could you imagine going through Airport Security wearing those!!

  27. Melody Halls says:

I think they look cool, but I’m 30 so I wouldn’t wear them. Maybe when it’s mid-life crisis time.

  28. Eeyah says:

Ummmmm, no thank you 🙂 I like kicking my shoes off, and I’d like to be able to easily kick them off and not loose my pants in the ordeal! lol!(pun intended!)

How would you wash these??? I’d imagine it would be hard on the washer to be putting them in the washer/dryer every week…..Not pratical, deff. not for me 🙂

  29. haine says:

They’re a unique idea – and like many people say here, maybe if I was 16 and into trying new things and like being unique etc. But I’m in my 20s now and I can’t see myself wearing those ANYWHERE.

Plus going to bathroom would be such a hassle! And storage! Do it hang them or let them flop around? lol

  30. Kristina says:

    matrix82-
I think they are awesome too!
Of course, today I’m guilty of wearing a pink “bleeping freezing” t-shirt with snowflakes on it.
    I love laces!

  31. JUSTJOIDE says:

OMG NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO… WHAT WERE THESE PEOPLE THINKING TO MAKE SOMETHING SO RETARDED………

  32. AmberLab says:

    Yuck!

  33. cesdit says:

    No way!

  34. Cheng says:

    Fail!

  35. vibrantflame says:

Um,no. The pants by themselves are kind of cool, but not with the shoes on them. I can’t even tell how to put them on, so I can imagine the fun I would have if I actually owned a pair. Plus I’m a bit old for a look like that. BUT I can see people wearing them.

  36. kingy says:

looks like a lot of work to get some lovin’

  37. KC says:

Gotta remember that whoever came up with these is probably American – where they don’t take their shoes off when they come in the house. I will say I might wear them, as both my jeans & my Converse are super comfy, so if they could pull that off in one piece, I might give it a try. Good points about washability & sizing though – I have enough trouble at times trying to find a size 6 shoe without hoping something like this would fit as jeans, though maybe the laces mean you can adjust the size of the jeans…?

  38. Faeore says:

Sizing would be a nightmare. Side 8 shoe and size 8 pants… then you have size 7 shoes and size 12 pants… just all over the place. Not very practical!

  39. kekes says:

ROFL … all I can say is “hope you have a strong bladder” ! 😉
I won’t get passed undoing the “bow” lol

  40. REC says:

    Do they come with DEPENDS?

  41. maliha44 says:

WOW!! Too flashy for me, I’m more of a blue jean person.

  42. sugarlips says:

No thanks… even if I get a pair of that for free. I’d probably post them on ebay instead.

  43. Krys says:

When I was 16, definitely yes, and probably in more than one colour!
I dont think being “goth” or “punk” has anything to do with these pants.. it really bothers me how narrow minded some people are to throw those labels on anything out of the ordinary.

If I had a child and they wanted to wear them, sure why not! Why stifle their personality? I’m the type that would let my kid dye their hair rainbow if they wanted tho..

  44. Andie says:

If they fit and i was 16 again, for sure (they never would have though, my legs are always too long for standard pants lengths.)

i think when you are young you should wear clothes as wild as you dare – you can only do it then, so go for it!

(now that i’m over 40, i think they’re sort of ugly, but, who cares for someone else?)

  45. Alee142010 says:

I would wear them, but not until they re-design them to have a hidden way to detach the shoes from the pants.

  46. Mike says:

I would wear shoepants or bootpants, but not shoebootpants.

  47. izawa says:

i hope they have fun making sizes for this
they would have to make for the pants size AND shoe size
totally genius whoever invented these = =

  48. poohbear2973 says:

this is actually not a new idea. I believe the first time I remember seeing them was almost 20 years ago.
The problem is they would be hard to wash and would have to be custome made. The great thing is that you would always have a pair of shoes that matched your pants.

  49. lizzyurb says:

I love those shants!! I would wear them!!

  50. Snoocy says:

Too frustrating; baby onesies with laces. Ugh

  51. koonb says:

    I’d wear em’

  52. AnneV says:

I don’t see a problem with them. They’re not like those slu**y fads like micro-minis or booty shorts, in fact quite the opposite. They keep everything nicely covered up. They wouldn’t work in Canada though, not this time of year anyway – unless the wearer walked around with shoe mittens to put on before going inside people’s houses. I’d never wear them, but I wouldn’t mind seeing teeny boppers in them.

  53. Lisane says:

Just had to say I love the comments. Mike with you shoepants/bootpants and AnneV with you shoe mittens… Made me laugh out loud 🙂

Now they can invent odour eaters for pants! Deodorize from your feet to your crotch.

  54. Noni Brewin says:

I think they’re kind of cool. Although, at 47, I couldn’t get away with wearing them, I do have a 27 year old daughter who could definitely pull it off. It’s okay to think outside the (shoe) box once in a while people!

  55. Melissa says:

    Ug. They are hideous.

  56. kicklegs says:

Hell yes, they are hideous. I’d wear them with my short jumpsuit if I really wanted to get in a fight.
