They are all really old movies. BUt I havent seen Kung Fu Panda yet so maybe we’ll see it. Im happy that Winston Churchill 24 is included:)

Some kids don’t have cable, don’t get taken to the movies because of the price and don’t get the latest video: so this is perfect. We are fans of CineStarz which operates in Gatineau and Mississauga, because they show movies between the theatre run and the DVD release date.

This is great. I brought my kids last summer and I’m glad to see its back this year. The theatre was overrun with young kids, so be warned!

Do you have to take a kid with you to get the $ 1.00 price ??..Can just 2 Adults go ( without any kids ) & still get that price 🙂 …I’ve seen all but one movie & might go in to see that one 🙂

This isn’t just for Toronto — the Kanata 24 in Ottawa and AMC in Whitby are also offering the deal, as well as a bunch of theatres in the U.S.

Just a warning: it will be a zoo. And not all of the movies will be appropriate for all ages of children, so choose wisely. This event was also offered last year and my husband tried to take our kids to the one movie I deemed safe for a 4 and 7 year old and it was sold out, the parking lot a nightmare and the theatre overun by people. If you decide to go, plan ahead and arrive early and expect chaos.
