   your purchases must total $75 not including giftcards. trust me i tried it. and it says in fine print giftcards are exempt as well as a tonne of other items 🙁

   She means buy a gift card first to get regular points on it. Then use the gift card to buy $75 worth of other eligible purchases.

   It’s a decent promotion if you’re really into optimum points, but there’s a tell a friend event shortly after where you only have to spend $25 and you can get 9545 points if you join one of the SC groups… so… I know what I’m doing. 🙂

   So, if the $75 is AFTER coupons, and my cashier is *nice* and uses the 2001 code, can’t I just purchase 8 Sense and Sprays, for $0 with coupons, and get 15,000X the points free?

   So, since I have to spend $75 BEFORE coupons, couldn’t I theoretically just purchase 8 of the Sense N Sprays, redeem coupons (assuming the cashier uses the 2001 code), and get 15,000X points FREE?

   Leanne, oh that would be great, but I believe it is AFTER coupons & you actually have to SPEND $75 in real money! But this does work at Zellers to get points! I did get 6 of the Sense & Sprays at Zellers & got points for FREE! 🙂

    Has anyone been able to use this offer on 2 diferent $75 purchases or do you only get regular points after the first time. It says something in the fine print that alludes to a one time offer, but it is not clear.

    if I buy the $75 gift card (any optimum points given?), then i use it to pay for my purchase of $75, can i still get the 15,000 bonus points?
