Starbucks Canada has released a NEW Juniper Latte! Signature espresso and steamed milk mingle beautifully with juniper syrup.

Subway Canada has released a NEW Montreal Steak Spice Sandwich. The new Montreal Steak Spice sandwich is about as legendary as it gets: 100% Canadian steak seasoned in Montreal Steak Spice, served with provolone cheese, baby spinach, red onions, green peppers and topped off with creamy garlic aioli. All of this served on savoury sesame seed bread.

Bowring and Bombay Canada have obtained protection from creditors under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. There are 43 Bombay stores and 38 Bowring stores. Some of the chains’ stores have already moved into liquidation mode as they prepare for expected closures. Social media accounts for Bowring and Bombay have been taken offline.

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. announced today the closing of certain underperforming store locations as part of its ongoing strategic reassessment. To focus on its most profitable stores and improve the overall health of its store portfolio, the company will close 31 stores in Canada (including Lowe’s, RONA and Reno-Depot) and 20 stores in the US.

Lowe’s expects to close the impacted stores by Feb. 1, 2019. To facilitate an orderly wind-down, the company intends to conduct store closing sales for most of the impacted locations.
