Microsoft Canada has a great deal for students starting this month. If your school has enrolled in a subscription with Microsoft, students and faculty members can download and use Office 365 for free. Once a school has signed up for Microsoft’s subscription service, they can get access to the newest versions of Microsoft programs, and pass on the ability to download them to students. Students and faculty will be able to download Microsoft programs such as Office, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Access and Publisher. Once you sign up and download, you will be able to install them on up to five computers and five phones or tablets. An account will also come with Office Online and, as a bonus, you receive 1TB of OneDrive storage that will let you upload anything you need without fear of running out of space.
Many schools such as the University of Toronto have already subscribed to this service, so all students have to do is visit this website and enter your valid school email to receive your download link. Faculty members will also be able to take advantage of this deal if their school has signed up.
Your school may place restrictions on each download that will vary, so be sure to check.

Bath and Body Works Canada has curated three different coupons for you this weekend, that give you the choice and flexibility to pick whichever offer is most suited to your needs. These coupons vary between discounts and freebies, but overall, you won’t have to spend very much to get a whole bunch in return from the wonderful people at Bath and Body Works.

All of the coupons deals that Bath and Body Works has lined up for this week will be valid through Saturday, February 28th and you will only be permitted to use one coupon per transaction (as you cannot combine coupons or discounts). The three coupons that you will have the choice of picking between are:
- 20% off your entire purchase
- $10 off your purchase of $30 or more
- or 1 FREE item (value of $15 or less) when you spend $10 or more
Keep in mind that tomorrow is the last day for the buy 1 3-wick candle, get 1 free offer, so if you’d also like to take advantage of that promotion, I’d suggest you hurry into Bath and Body Works today with your coupons in tow!

If you received a text from Rogers Canada alerting you that they will waive your device balance remaining on your current device if you upgrade to a new phone now, then you had better head in to your nearest Rogers to claim it. This offer will only be applicable to those of you who received this text, with the code, UPGRADEHV, included in the message.
If you did not receive the message, you could always try to go into your local Rogers and use the code (though they will have probably marked whether you qualify for the upgrade on your account information page).
This promotion of waiving the balance on your current phone will only be valid at Rogers until March 31st.

Melitta Canada has a Facebook giveaway contest going on right now, where you can enter for your chance to win a Melitta Coffee prize pack – of which, we are not sure what it will exactly entail, but hey, it’s free!

All you will have to do is follow this link to their Facebook page, and comment on the picture that asks, “How did you brew your coffee today?”, with one of the pre-selected responses:
- a) Automatic drip
- b) Pour-over
- c) Single-serve brewer
- d) Other
When you comment with your response (mine was d) Other, as I use a French press for my morning coffee!), you will automatically be entered to the competition. Be sure that the e-mail that Facebook uses to contact you is a valid one, as this is probably also the one that Melitta will use to alert you to the fact that you have won the competition.

Starbucks Canada Rewards Members should check your e-mail this morning to see what kind of specially catered deal they have for you today, as it seems there are already two different offers circulating that will, more or less, give you a free espresso beverage when you buy a specific number of additional espresso drinks.

Though the amount of drinks you will have to buy may vary, Starbucks will be running this promotion for all members from February 23rd until March 2nd. Seeing as this deal will rollover the weekend, that gives you the perfect opportunity to treat a friend – or a couple of friends – to coffee. One of the offers is a straight up buy 1, get 1 free offer on handcrafted espresso beverages, while the one I received in my e-mail is 3 espresso beverages and then you will receive a 1 free drink (I know, the one I received is significantly less exciting).
The free espresso beverage you receive from Starbucks must be of equal or lesser value to the drink you’re paying for, so you won’t be able to purchase a tall caramel macchiato and then get a venti caramel mocha (or some other combination that makes for an uneven trade off).

To celebrate opening their 1000th store, Krispy Kreme Canada will be giving their first 1000 customers at participating locations one free Original Glazed Doughnut per person. Though the store that Krispy Kreme is opening is located in Kansas, the site is telling us that certain locations worldwide will be able to pick up this freebie – should you get there in time that is!

Sephora Canada’s sale has a wide variety of stock, including makeup palettes, manicure packs, and fragrances, being sold for up to 75% off the regular price. And while this sale alone is enough to entice even the most strong willed fashionista, their additional offer of giving away 2 free deluxe samples when you spend $35 or more is completely irresistible. To claim these two free deluxe samples, you will have to enter the promo code, NEWBEAUTY, at the checkout.

While shopping through the sale, I was able to find a number of good deals on makeup sets that came in well below the $35 minimum, so I figured it would be best to stack a couple of sale pieces to meet the qualifying minimum rather than splurging on one regular priced item. For instance, I was able to buy the Sephora by OPI Sparktacular Gel Kit for just $30 (regularly $42) and also add on the Sephora Rio Night Waterproof Gel Eyeliner for just an extra $7 (regularly $19).

After you have met the minimum requirement, and entered the promo code, you will be prompted to add the 2 free deluxe samples which are a Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap and a Murad Resurgence Intensive Age Diffusing Serum (both of these will come in the deluxe sample size, so will not be full-size products).
Sephora also does not offer free-shipping unless you spend $75, otherwise they will charge you an extra $7.95 for standard shipping within Canada.

When you’re doing your weekly grocery shopping this week, keep your eyes peeled for specially marked packages of Coca-Cola products that feature this amazing buy 1, get 1 free offer from Cineplex Canada. The offer, which will be indicated on your box of Coca-Cola or Nestea Cool packages, will entitle you to one free general admission ticket with the purchase of one ticket, or 1 free digital movie rental on the Cineplex Store when you pay for one rental.
The boxes that you purchase will include a voucher code, which you will enter here to redeem as a coupon for either a free rental or movie ticket. The boxes where you will find this voucher include:
- 8 x 355mL
- 12 x 355mL
- or 15 x 355mL
You will have until June 10th, 2015 to use your voucher code, after which Cineplex will close the competition and your codes will be void.

Thank you to forum member MapleLeaves for posting about this in the Freebies section of our forum. This February the 27th, Benefit is launching a brand new mascara called Roller Lash, and while supplies last, you can get a deluxe mini sample of the mascara FREE from Sephora Canada. You can pick up the sample in store with no purchase required, simply by showing your Beauty Insider card. If you do not have a Beauty Insider card, it is free and only takes a moment to register for one. Registering will also make you eligible to receive Sephora’s awesome birthday freebies, so definitely a great idea to sign up.
If you happen to be ordering online from Sephora Canada, you can also add the Benefit Roller Lash deluxe mini mascara to your order for free. I LOVE these deluxe samples of mascara because I find the large tubes to be such a waste of product. The mascara inevitably dries out before you are anywhere close to finishing the tube.

This week’s roundup of coupons from A&W Canada will certainly keep you full and satisfied. Whether you find yourself looking for something sweet to finish off your meal (like a free and palette warming apple turnover) or something to get you up in the morning (like a free stack of pancakes), A&W has got something that will finish everyone’s meal off with a freebie or upgrade that will make you smile.

All of the coupons for this week from A&W are set to expire on March 8th, 2015 and you will be limited to one coupon per paying customer. The offers available include:
- get 3 free pancakes with the purchase of any plated breakfast at regular price
- get an order of fries and regular soft drink for free when you buy a Teen burger or Mozza burger at regular price
- upgrade to a root beer float for free with the purchase of an A&W Root Beer or a combo at regular price
- get a free apple turnover with the purchase of any combo at regular price

Good morning Smart Canucks! This fine Monday we’ll be kicking off the deals with some free offers from your favourite Canadian fast-food chains, that is McDonald’s Canada and Tim Hortons Canada. You’ll perhaps remember last week when we warned you how McDonald’s would once again be offering their free small cups of premium roast coffee, which will be starting today and running until March 1st.

In addition to that wonderful freebie from McDonald’s, you can also cash in on the Tim Hortons offer which, coincidentally enough, will also be running from today until March 1st, but will instead be offering a free hash brown with the purchase of any beverage and breakfast sandwich.
These are two great offers that will save you at the very least a couple of dollars during your morning work week routine. The question that still begs to be answered though, is which offer will you be taking advantage of? McDonald’s free coffee or Tim Hortons free hash brown? Or, for those more daring, both?

Visit any DAVIDs TEA location today and get free mtcha tea beverage with this coupon available on DAVIDs TEA’s facebook page.
If you are not familiar with matcha tea, the health benefits exceed those of green tea because when you drink matcha you ingest the whole leaf, not just the brewed water because matcha tea is finely ground to remain in your drink rather than just steeped and removed.
Since the coupon says a free match beverage, you can probably try one of the new flavoured matcha teas, choose from mint, mocha or vanilla or regular matcha matsu.
Click here to get your facebook coupon, this offer ends today.

The Body Shop Canada is once again having one of their mix and match events, but this time, instead of buying three qualifying items and only getting 2 in return, you will instead receive an equal amount of 3 free products when you buy 3 products of equal or greater value. This offer will be going on both in-store and online, and will be ending online on February 23rd and will be ending in-store on February 22nd.

You will also have the option to buy 2 qualifying products from the Body Shop, and then receive one freebie in exchange that is of equal or lesser value, but when you could buy one extra item and then get 2 more freebies in return, why would you bother with buying 2?
The only products that this promotion won’t be offered on are as follows:
- select 200ml Body Butter
- Hemp Soap on a Rope
- Smoky Poppy products
- Smoky Poppy makeup
- Vitamin E Serum-in Oil
- Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate
- All-in-One InstaBlur
- InstaBlur Eye
- Argan Range
- Red Musk products
- bundles, sale items, and gifts
- everyday offers, and accessories $6 and under

OneDrive Canada, the online cloud computing service from Microsoft, is offering all users of their competing service, DropBox, a 1 year subscription to Microsoft OneDrive for FREE with a bonus 100GB of storage.

The ad for this claims that it is only for U.S. residents, but I was able to go through the prompts and receive my free 100GB of extra storage for free. Keep in mind, however, that OneDrive is only offering this deal to the first 1o million recipients – which may seem like a lot, but you’d be surprised how fast people act when they hear the words ‘free’.

To receive the free 100GB of storage, you will have to prove that you actually have a DropBox account, which will be achieved through Microsoft sending a start-up package through your DropBox account; a pretty clever trick it you ask me.
Click here to get the free 100GB of storage from Microsoft OneDrive.
