I think a lot of us already “like” the Dempsters page on Facebook because of the great giveaways and coupons they have had in the past.  And now they’re doing it again!  This time they will be giving away their bagels.  This is great for me because bagels are pretty popular in my house.

On Saturday February 25th they will also be hosting a Beyblade Tournament. Canadian Wildlife Federation is already accepting requests for their free 2013 calendar. I love the Telus  calendars but its pretty obvious the animals are doctored to look cuter. Can’t wait for next year when I get see Canada’s 12 finest furry models.

I am a bit hesitant in posting this promo because the last freebie from Aveda was not available at any of the stores that I went to…even though there was nothing stated on the printout. 🙁 Luckily, I didn’t give up, brought the voucher with me when I went to Buffalo, and redeemed it at a Pure Salon at the Walden Galleria! No problems whatsoever.

(I think the problem lies in the fact that Aveda US/Canada share the same website.)

Toys R Us is having another building Lego event this Saturday.  From 12pm-2pm your child can build and keep a Lego Snowman for free.  They only have 100 building kits per location so you might want to go in early.  If you child is under 5 they can build a Lego Duplo Penguin instead.  They only have 50 Duplo building kits per location (and Duplo kits are not available at Express stores).

These events can be insanely busy so plan to go early if you plan to go.  That said, I took my son to the Thomas one they had last summer and there were only a handful of other kids there.
