Amazon.ca has a recently updated their movies and TV shows deal section, and within this section I was able to find a rather hot deal on a masterpiece collection that will, for some of you, be a really big throwback. The deal that I speak of is the 44% markdown on, Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection. The box set includes 15 different movies from the critically acclaimed director and screenwriter, and will also showcase some of old Hollywood’s most talented actors and actresses that sparkled across the big screen during the Golden Age of cinema.
Of the many classics that are included in this 15-movie set, one of my personal favourites, which stars James Stewart and Grace Kelly, has been included in the collection. The film being, Rear Window, which on Rotten Tomatoes (like many of Hitchcock’s films) has received a 100% rating on the Tomatometer scale. The other films that you can anticipate to find in the collection are:

For the more modern TV viewer, you may be interested in checking out the sale that Amazon.ca has on Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series. As of the time of this posting, there were only 10 left of these box sets, which isn’t surprising seeing as the collection normally sells for $229.99, but is now on sale for just $160.79.
If Battlestar Galactica is too sci-fi dense for you, then your preferences may lean towards a more popular culture friendly sci-fi TV series, that is Smallville. Right now, you can pick up the 7th season, and almost every other season of Smallville for that matter, for just $14.49 (regularly $49.70).

Bench Canada’s sale on men’s and women’s jackets and sweaters features deals where you can save up to 50% off on select pieces, plus, if you haven’t already signed up to receive Bench, then you can save an additional 5% off on your purchase.
Within the women’s sale, I was able to find this Nolie Zip Thru sweater for half-off the original price of $79, now just $39.50. The post-morning yoga sweater is also available in honey suckle pink, black, mint green, and white, but all of these colours are being sold for $59.99, rather than the grey sweater which is $20 cheaper.
Another great deal from the women’s sale was this Garlick II Jacket, which is on sale for just $99.99 (regularly $149). This jacket comes with thumbholes, which would make it a great piece for wearing outdoors on morning hikes or runs that are just a little too brisk to go without an extra layer, but not quite cold enough to merit a pair of gloves/mitts.

Chapters Indigo Canada has a number of weekly deals and sales offered each week, but what will make these deals even more enticing is that you can stack them with the Visa Checkout promotion to receive an additional 20% off on almost any of your purchases.
The only restrictions with the Visa Checkout promo is that you cannot exceed $1,000 in your purchase and you cannot use it on the following products or departments:

An example of a deal that you could use the Visa Checkout promo with, to make for some really great savings, is the Kobo Aura. Before, the 6″ eReader was selling for $129.99, but right now it is on sale for just $99.99. When you counter in the Visa Checkout 20% off, the Kobo Aura reduces to being only $80.
Other deals that you may want to check out this week at Chapters Indigo is the toy sale, which features offers that are up to 50% off their original price. If you purchase anything from this department then, and combine it with the Visa Checkout promotion, then you could be saving upwards of 60% off on select toys. For instance, this Webkinz Darling Dino is currently on sale for 49% off the original price and is now just $7.50 (was $14.95). When you apply the extra 20% off to the Webkinz Darling Dino, it is then reduced to being just $6.
And while the Fitbit Flex isn’t exactly on sale at Chapters Indigo, if you were to purchase it using the Visa Checkout promotion you would only have to pay $96 for it, though it is usually sold for $119.99. The closest price that I could find on the same Fitbit Flex was at Best Buy Canada, where they are selling it for $99.99. If you don’t have Visa Checkout, and don’t intend to get it, then you may opt to buy your Fitbit Flex from Best Buy, seeing as it is being sold at a decent price point.
Chapters Indigo will be running the Visa Checkout promotion until May 31st, and you will only be allowed one discount per paying customer – so be sure you think long and hard about your purchase before going through the checkout!

Bath and Body Works Canada has released one of their sweet freebie coupons that will allow for you to pick up an item from the Signature Collection (a maximum value of up to $15) for free when you also make a purchase of $10 or more. This coupon will only be valid until Sunday, May 31st and you will be limited to one coupon per paying customer.
You also won’t be permitted to combine the coupon with any other coupon or promotion going on in-store, though we have heard that some stores are more flexible than others about combining in-store promotions with coupons.

As we mentioned earlier today, Sport Chek Canada is hosting one of their semi-annual Friends and Family events where you can take 25% off on all regular price merchandise, plus an extra 10% off on already reduced styles. This event takes place both in-store and online, however, to successfully claim your discount online you will have to enter the promo code, FF0515W. Earlier we mentioned that you must use the promo code, FF0515A, which also appears to be working, but you cannot stack the two codes to receive double the savings; it’s one or the other.
When I was browsing within the running sneakers section I found the shoes I use to train with being sold at regular price for $129.99. However, after using the Friends and Family promo code, I was able to purchase New Balance Zante B running shoes for just $97.49.
Since I was saving about $33 on my shoes, I thought I could put the money I saved towards a new pair of running shorts as well. Since running shorts don’t usually sell at this price point, I decided to check out the 30% off Nike sale that Sport Chek is running right now. Amazon.ca has a new deal on Pampers Cruisers Diapers right now where you can pick up sizes 4-6 in packages of 74-count to 54-count for the lowly price of $24.99. This is just below the $25 minimum requirement for free-shipping, so I’d either advise that you stack up on diapers or search for some kind of filler item that will bump you just above the free-shippinng requirement.
These packages of diapers were previously being sold for $34.99, meaning that each diaper would have cost you between $0.47-$0.65. With the newly discounted price, however, each individual diaper will only end up costing you between $0.34–$0.46.

By using the GET25 promo code, I was able to pick up two copies of the Toronto Edition of the 2015 Entertainment Book for just $14.98 USD.
