Walmart is selling this LG TV, and many other hot clearance items, at these crazy discounts as they are having clearance extravaganza event. Initially, I could not see the price of the LG TV until I added it to my cart, after which Walmart revealed its shockingly low price to me.

Stock on these bundles are selling out fast, as most of the stores close-by to me had already sold out of the bundles, but if you hurry you too may be able to snag this hot bundle for just $99.

With the long weekend fast-approaching, and the warm weather catching up alongside it, there is only one suitable option for these two events, and that is ice cream. If you’d prefer to grab a frozen treat over a scoop of ice cream from your local ice cream shop, then I’d suggest you go to your nearest Metro Canada location and pick up one of their Irresistibles Frozen Treat products, as there is a coupon out right now that will save you $1 off on any frozen treat purchase.

Shoppers Drug Mart Canada is hosting one of their spend your points events this weekend, on Saturday, May 16th through to Sunday, May 17th. During this event, you will be able to save up to $200 off on your purchase, should you spend the qualifying amount of 95,000 Optimum points. That’s an extra $30 in savings, as usually you would only receive $170 off on your purchase of 95,000 points.
If you don’t have quite that many points, you can still stand to save a little extra, as when you spend 50,000 Optimum points (on either Saturday or Sunday) you will receive an extra $15 off, as your total amount off will be $100 rather than the usual $185.
Shoppers Drug Mart will also be running a two-day sale in-store this weekend, where you can pick up Cashmere or Royale Bathroom Tissue in 9-12 rolls for just $3.99. I’d suggest that you check out the flyer before heading into the spend your points event, so that you don’t double buy anything at the grocery store that you could’ve picked up at Shoppers for cheaper.
For those of you not able to take advantage of the Sport Chek Canada Friends and Family event taking place today and tomorrow, you may want to head over to Sports Experts Canada instead to shop their tax-free sale on all regular priced merchandise. This sale will be on in-store merchandise only, and will be running until Monday, May 18th.

Amazon.ca is currently selling this hot (pardon the pun) deal on the Black and Decker Dual Temperature Heat Gun, as it is now on sale for just $19.99 (regularly $62.27). The heating gun, plain and simple, performs exactly the task that it is set out to do with great ease, and that is produce heat. Most of the customers who bought this product were very satisfied with their purchase, as the gun comes with two heat settings (750 degrees and 1000 degrees) that make stripping paint, moulding plastic, or whatever else you may need direct heat for a simple task.
In comparison to other retailers that were selling the same model, the deal that Amazon.ca has on the Black and Decker Heat Gun is arguably by far the best. Walmart is selling the same model for $29.98 and since Walmart no longer offers free-shipping on all orders, you would need to fill your cart with over $30 worth of product to qualify for free-shipping. Amazon.ca offers free-shipping on orders of $25 or more, meaning you would only need to find about $5 worth of filler product to qualify for free-shipping. Bath and Body Works Canada has a couple of promotions going on this week that will suit your fancy whether you’re on the market for a new shower gel, or even a new scented candle. None of these offers require the use of a coupon, simply show up in-store and the promotions will be going on.

The Punjabi International Film Festival, which is one of the largest South Asian film festivals in North America, is being hosted in Toronto this year over the Victoria Day long weekend (from May 14th-May 18th). During this festival, you can make a request to receive a free film screening pass to almost all of the movies. This would be a fun (and cheap) option for your Friday night date night, or even if you’re looking for something inexpensive to do with a friend on one of this weekend’s lazy afternoons in.
You will be limited to two passes per request, or rather per e-mail, so if you wanted to take the whole family out (or a large group of friends) then you would need to have a couple of people from your group request free tickets.
West Jet Canada is having a sale on their summer seasonal routes to select U.S. destinations, with prices dipping as low as $281 on roundtrip tickets from Vancouver to visit the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. This seasonal sale will only be valid for new purchases made by May 20th at 11:59pm MT and that have dates of travel booked by June 24th (inclusive).
While searching for hot ticket prices in this seat sale, I was able to find a roundtrip ticket from Vancouver to San Francisco for just $282. The dates of travel were both on Tuesdays, a day of the week which I find helps to keep the prices down when you are looking for good travel deals. When I compared the price that West Jet was selling this roundtrip ticket for, from May 26th-June 2nd, I saw that it was at least $24 cheaper than the closest competing airline.
