rsz_picture_13

Cirque Du Soleil is offering some special discounted prices for their shows for Valentine’s Day at 50% off. These shows are not on Valentine’s Day, in case you are wondering, the Toronto show is June-July, but it’s a special price rate because of Valentine’s Day. This would make for an awesome present for someone!

The show in Toronto is Alegria, June 30-July 4, 2010 at the Air Canada Centre, and tickets are $81, $67.50 and $45.

There are also shows in Quebec City and Montreal.

If I am reading it right, I think it’s just 10% OFF? I was comparing the ticket price for the Toronto show between the link provided here and the regular ticketmaster link, only 10% difference. Like $50 tickets now $45, %90 tickets now $81.

  2. Justine says:

@J – not sure where you are looking, when I look regular price tickets show up as $115, $90, $75, $50.

  3. J says:

    $90, $75, $50. and now $81, $67.50 and $45. Isn’t that just 10% OFF?

  4. Justine says:

What about the $115 price point??

  5. MS says:

Yeah it’s only 10% off. Price level 1 ($115) isn’t offered for valentines promo.

  6. Justine says:

That’s really weird, good thing I didn’t order tickets, why would they advertise it as 50% off then?

  7. sampler says:

Thanks for pointing that out J ! Thank god I didn’t buy too, I was very close… but then I saw the seating wasn’t as great as I thought…

  8. fleetingleaf says:

read the original post, and apparently it’s buy one get one free…and when you purchase the tickets it actually show’s up as 50% discount off each ticket.

  9. Sally says:

I can’t get that to work fleeting leaf, its offering me the same thing as J for a two pack.

  10. Wildarm says:

They charge a convenience charge as well as an E-ticket charge. 😛

$21 in extra charges for 2 tickets seems a little much.

  11. FunkyMunky says:

yeah I just noticed this as well! I have emailed them via their contact us form
if I hear back, I’ll post here 🙂

  12. FunkyMunky says:

The “Valentine’s Day 2-pak” is an offer that allowed you to buy 2 discounted tickets. The offer only gives you opportunity to buy discounted tickets which is less expensive than the regular tickets. For example, the regular price for the 45$ tickets is 50$.

    total scam I say! :@
