Final Fantasy XI, 14 Day Free Trial Now Online

Getting involved in a new MMO can sometimes be a daunting task.  There’s the initial purchase, monthly fees, giant installs, the risk of not liking it, and the risk of liking it too much.  That’s why I’m a huge advocate of the free trial period.  Sure you still have to go through the huge install, but asides from that it let’s you have a good taste of the game to let you know if it’s something you want to make time for.

After 7 years on store shelves Final Fantasy XI has finally joined the free trial club.  Hop on over to their official website and start the lengthy download to begin your 14 days in the world of Vana’diel.

Watch out for this one! YOU are responsible for cancelling during the trial period if you don’t like the game. 1 day past and they will bill your credit card and they have, in their own words “A STRICT NO REFUNDS POLICY.”

WoW really does suck, there servers are always down so you never get what you pay for, the general player population is more crule to new players then final, you will find yourself stuck for hours when most people will try to kill you then help you out. The graphics in wow looks like a child drew, and WHEN your game crashes (because, it will) GM/and WoW support is basicly useless and you will need to sort out your game on your own, FFXI is more challenging the WoW, instead of being able to quickly jump up the levels like WoW and basicly cheat yourself, in FFXI you will meet life-freinds as you grow in skill and levels and makes you not just a better player in final, but in other games as well. This may sound stupid, but FFXI teaches you life skills as well, which is why its wonderful for the young and old.

hmm Wowsucks… learn how to spell… you know what scratch that, learn how to properly use the english language. I’m downloading FF11 right now, and praying that the population isn’t a composition of imbred codependent losers like yourself. I’ve played World of warcraft and it’s an excellent game for what it is. Now if you’re like Mr. Wowsucks and obviously just addicted to mmorpgs and can’t seem to find your fix unless you can hide behind “life long friendships” that require absolutely zero human contact, i suggest stick to the forums and keep talking shit. Because that’s going to be the highest point of your existence. Cheers!

Lmao!! hmm you rule man! As a former WOW player myself I completely disagree with that dumbass. The graphics look really good if you don’t suck too much to gear up and your computer doesn’t run windows 95 😛 stop whining or go play Runescape you loser (wowsucks)! N E who I hope this FF11 game is good. Cheers!
